I think it's kinda bullshit that you have to replay missions to reach some of the statues. I was going to check out what you got for collecting them all, but none of the content was good enough to play twice.

I really hope that there's a new open world game this year, where Vinny can just come in and wreck things up and do more quick looks like this one.

I don't think Vinny really answered my question about this vs SR3, but I got the vibe he likes Sleeping Dogs more. The mayhem in this game feels more natural and Vinny likes mayhem!

I dunno - I like a little more focus in my QL's. I like TNT's because it's them messing around for 2 hours in multiplayer. I like QL's because it's them quickly looking at a game (or DLC). It's obvious that Vinny loves the chaotic nature of the game, but come on... running around, singing karaoke and getting busted by cops for attacking civilians for half an hour isn't my definition of a DLC QL about a specific portion of the game they take that long to get to.

You want Karaoke you play Yakuza. Not this bullshit.

Edit: Also, Vinny is overselling the depth of the dating system. You get one short sidemission per girl + the single sidemission where one of them gets pissed at you. That's it, no other interactions with them whatsoever.

Good move to show CBS commercials now. Makes more sense for me than watching ads for foodstuff only available in the US - me living in Europe that is.

Anyone know the exact computer specs of the computer they used here (well and Brads since his is similiar). Would love to know for a reference point.

I've only played the first, but I love games that set up a real world for you to explore. That game did almost everything right in terms of story, setting, graphics, gameplay, humor, intrigue, etc. I wasn't too interested in the sequels, but I recently bought them. Might give them a try some time.

Poor level design, so restricted and obviously based around cover, it felt more dated as a cover based shooter than Gears in terms of level design and combat. The animations suck, I mean in every "cutscene" it is shot reverse shot as they stand around like cardboard, my god Shepard smiling is a bad thing. I mean play Portal 2 and Valve make a sphere robot feel more human.

The story is always some massive Bioware Cliche and always so epic in terms of what you're doing is always save their life or save the or the human race or whatever. There is no character building in the story at all and when you have any character stuff in cutscenes it is not reflected at all in the rest of the game or the gameplay... like remember Jack? What a load of shit that was.

The only thing I like about it is the music but that was ruined in the 3rd game. The setting is just massively generic but I see why people like it, I think really the music and the setting is what makes people overlook the rest of the games downfalls.

Terrible terrible game.

Honestly Brad, if you can suffer through Mass Effect 3, you should play Assassin's Creed: Revelations. It's a fun/good game. The RTS elements are largely optional, I don't agree with Ryan at all, he was probably terrible at managing his notoriety. Constantinople is awesome, as are the new characters introduced.

Does anyone know the specs on the PC they run this on? I'm about to build one and don't know where to start... but Sleeping Dogs looks damn good here.

I wouldn't exactly call playing Mass Effect 3 suffering. It's a very solid game with good moments.

Also it seems I made the right choice in not playing any Assassin's Creed after Brotherhood, and that will probably remain true.

I can tell you what mine are (I run it maxed, bar AA; it looks gorgeous).

i5 2500K, GTX560ti (448 cores SE), 8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM.

You could build a better machine for that, for the same price I built it last year (around this time), by substituting the CPU/GPU for i5 3570K, GTX670, respectively.

guys, just a little note on the video player, it sometimes sucks donkey balls. i wanted to go back a few seconds to read a dialog from shen and found myself at the beginning of the video, after over an hour. fix it with the new site please.

Whoa Whoa Whoa! I didn't even love Mass Effect 2 as much as everyone else in the fucking world, but I stopped the QL when Dave said it was a terrible game and said WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT out loud. Come on, now Dave. ME2 is pretty fucking great.

Definitely sad to see that the current video card on my pc is below the specs for Sleepy Dogs (can run Far Cry3 though) so this quick look sold me even more on the game, will probably get it on steam now during the sale & then go after the video card as it looks great on pc.
