This game's UI is really weird and unfitting. I dunno. Everything else looks great, though. Can't wait to get this one! eventually

Man, they really pulled it off. How come we never got a truly great Simpsons game? Hit and Run is the only one I can think of that had some quality to it.

Looks very nice. But I was never a big South Park fan, and being at least 12-14 years since I even watched it regularly I can't say the toilet focused humor is getting any more appealing to me than it did back then. If anything, the quick look made me wish I liked South Park more. But as it stands, it seems like a competent game that nails the visual aspects though.

Though, this video seemed more framey than they were letting on. Gave me a little headache by the end. Sounds like that's mainly an issue with the console versions. Shame they couldn't have evened that out a bit more.

Hopefully patches will get it up to snuff soon.

Okay that Bard part was prettttttty funny and that super move was pretty neat. The loading into battle is kind of off putting though. Also having never really been a fan of the show I feel like a lot of the jokes will just go over my head.

I'm pretty sure it's the video considering they don't mention it and it does get really bad.

I've seen every South Park episode so I was picking up all the references. I wonder how many of the "ripped from the headlines" type episodes are referenced in the game.

I've actually heard it's a relatively common issue with the console versions(at least from reviews), and Brad mentions it early on in the video. Vinny says it doesn't seem too bad, but taken over a longer period of time, it's probably more noticeable.

I certainly noticed it; though, I am admittedly a bit sensitive to inconsistent frame rates in games. *shrug* From reviews, it sounds like it isn't really an issue in the PC version.

Considering how good the game is, anyone have any ideas why they had such a late embargo?

I mean, reviews weren't even allowed out until the game had been on store shelves for a few hours. What could they have possibly been so worried about? The few tech issues?

There isn't always common sense behind the embargo date for a game. The tech issues don't seem bad enough for it to worry them too much.

That game was an abomination... and I liked anything at that age. I remember it being stupidly, unfairly difficult. It also looked terrible.

It's too bad that I don't find more of South Park's humor funny. I think about 1/4 of the jokes I've seen in coverage of this game are hilarious, and the rest is either groan inducing or simply not funny to me. And then there was that summon with that slave guy in this Quick Look that, well, let's just say I shan't play this game.

But good for South Park fans! This seems like a good Paper Mario clone, and we can always use more Paper Mario inspired RPGs.

Though, good on 'em for using audio from actual Nazi speeches.
