@abendlaender: My theory is it's reused audio from Under a Killing Moon, I'd have to go back and listen again though. Maybe even extra sound from the outtakes. That's my guess anyways, it would explain why they wouldn't exclaim that they got him back.

@blacklab: Yes, I find it weird that the guys seemed to find it offensive that they thanked the fans for making the game possible at the beginning.

@hustlerlt: On the plus side, the video quality is so high that the prosthetics and makeup look hilariously bad.

Someone else has probably already pointed this out, but that IS james earl jones in the beginning as it is one of the many direct samples from Under A Killing Moon. And I LOVED seeing those clips play at actual FMV rates instead of the 15 FPS or sometimes less of the 256 color VGA originals.

This seems INCREDIBLE. Definitely bizarre that it came out in 2014, but it seems like they've managed to actually capture the (ridiculously terrible in a good way) stylings of the traditional FMV adventure, but do so with video that actually looks pretty decent.

Definitely going to have to play this one myself at some point.

Just bought the entire series on GOG for 25 bux thanks to this quick look. Pretty stoked about it.

The amount of people that don't know about Rifftrax in these comments is kind of shocking.

The "I'm experiencing a sensation altogether new to me, and frankly I love it!" line at about 11 minutes in is totally from the start of the MST3K movie!

Ahaha... "casual mode, for those who can't read... the screen..." I love it when Vinny gets saucy, because he's so effective at pretending to be a little dense. Like when he was looking at the walkthrough and only read the last steps instead of realising "hey I'm in the completely wrong location according to these explicit capitalized hints", and had to have Drew tell him what he's missing. Very smart playing dumb like that. (Yeah I'm being snarky, but I'm not whining, it's funny.)

This game looks completely amazing. It's definitely not just a bunch of callbacks (though obviously they're massively integrated); they're building their own jokes and world and, most importantly, putting legitimate emotion inside of the humour. It's a super-tough tone to balance and from what I've seen, they're doing it superbly.

Sweet sweet content.

yea, i have to second this... you guys come in fine but i can't hear the game at all. had to stop watching about 10min in.

Is it just me or is the audio on this (and many other videos) very quiet? I often like to play something while a GB video plays on my other monitor and I usually have to turn up my speakers a great deal and also crank down the game audio for it to be "balanced" properly. Not a big deal but...

I about lost it when they introduced the "Smart Alex" interface. It's too bad there weren't more terrible terrible puns on the same level.

Have a seriously hard time believing they made this game for under a million, some ridiculous production value. Even the holographic girl effect looked crazy well done. Probably pick this up if it's only 20$ haven't played orginals.

I always thought these were modern day P.I. dramas. What I have seen seems much different then that.
