This game's got a ton of styyyyle. Not sure about the actual gameplay though; it looks maybe a bit too simple.

But could be the later murders are much more complicated.

The beginning reminds me of FF7.

I was watching for a while at PAX and talked to one of the devs for a bit, really great project. Kind of reminds me of The Last Express time mechanic mixed with Metroid/Castlevania style gating (I don't know if there's a word for that).

Saw this in the PSN store the other day, I'm glad they took a look at it.

What I liked most was how Alex came across it. So many games it seems right now. Sadly it comes down to allocation of money, and making decisions that are perhaps short sighted. Steam reviews don't help much, anymore, either.

@danryckert Golden duck is a cricket term. A duck is when a batter goes out having scored 0 points, a golden duck is when they go out on the first ball. (In this case, he knocked the dude out having thrown a single candlestick.)

I'm glad you guys did a Quick Look of this game as I was afraid it was going to slip under the radar. I've been playing it a bit and have enjoyed it so far.

I'm so glad you guys are covering this and it's getting more attention. I really need to play this game.

I want to listen to this soundtrack for like four hours on end. Some good tunes.

It's like Hotel for Dogs, only instead of a hotel it's a mansion, and instead of dogs it's people.

The tone of this really reminds me of Poe's The Masque of the Red Death.

The music in this game got old extremely fast.

I've played this for about an hour yesterday. I thought the writing was a bit awkward so I went online and checked who the developer is. Apparently Tequila Works from Spain. That explains a lot. The way it is written is actually a bit of a problem since a lot of the clues for what to do next are in the dialogue. One non-solution-related example from the targets shown in this video: I didn't notice Trinity is supposed to be blind. Admittedly, I didn't see the part about the braille deck and didn't stick around when she was investigating the spider room.

Otherwise I really dig it. Figuring out what's going on and just seeing and hearing more of this game has been pretty fun so far.

I love that 'Lucas with the lid off' reference.

Of all the games and movies they compared it too, nothing about Majora's Mask lol.

I actually beat this game a few days ago and I was not disappointed. The puzzles don't get particularly harder, aside from loosely delivered clues that can cause you to over think, but the story makes it super worth it.

Well this looks incredibly interesting. I may have to check this out....intriguing and creative.

I was going to check this out, and I'm glad GB did it for me. The game does nothing for me, and although that's a shame, the QL at least saved me money!

This is a really cool game. When I was playing, I didn't even seen Trinity before I saved her, or know how Clay was going to be killed. I just saw the cameras, interacted with them and won.

Anybody interested in this game, it's on EA Origin Access along with a bunch of actual good indie games.

just finished this in 2 sittings. Incredible story, cool style & an all-around well made game. Sadly there was one murder where my own solution made more sense than the one the devs wanted you to do. Spent a good 1-2 hours on testing every option apart from the way simpler (but nonsensical) option that the game wanted you to do. And there was one instance of an english sentence where two names had to be switched up to make sense. (A before B so that A sees an event happen to B ... instead of A before B so that B sees an event happen to A) Also managed to 100% it on my first try, so the collectibles are not too crazily hidden. Should give you a good 6-12 hours of fun.
