Quick Look: Throwback: Jet Grind Radio

Oh man, favorite Dreamcast game ever.  So many memories.... I gotta whip out the DC and play this immediately.

I hate to be 'that guy' but that was pretty painful to watch.
 
Although that's probably because I've spent the last week playing Jet Set Radio.

I remember playing something like this on my friends Xbox. If I remember right that game was awesome.

The timer made this game better. Jet set radio future was really boring or at least i thought so cus it didnt have much in terms of goals, you still did the graffiti but you had forever to do it. Also you dudes talked over the soundtrack and thats one of the greatest parts of this game still. Are you gonna be up with that radio long, im trying to get some sleep!

JSRF is probably one of my favorite original Xbox games.

One of the best series ever.

Wow.  Before this video I had no idea that somebody could be so bad at video games, and indeed life in general.  My entire outlook on life has changed.

Yea time limits are no fun.

This game is and always will be amazing. Beat it several times, satisfying every time.

I played Jet Set Radio future once when I was a kid and it was awesome!

Never played this one, but played Jet Set Radio Future that came with my launch Xbox. Loved it. I thought it was an under appreciated game during the Xbox life span. And I would love a continuation for this series. 

This game was amazing!  I remember having to buy this, AND Virtua Tennis when it came out as I couldn't pick between the 2 so just bought both!
 
I remember completing this but getting stuck on the sky scrapers level in JSRF.  Have to say I played the sequel way more though.
 
Where can I get the soundtrack?

I remember this and JSRF, and I remember loving playing them. And it was great.

JSR looks cool! If only my friend's dreamcast had the AV cables...

I've never played any of the games int the Jet Set Radio series, but would if a never game came out or was Virtually Consoled, if you know what I'm saying.

i really wanted this when it came out, which is kinda odd cuz i was like, 9 at the time. i guess even then i had pretty good taste in games. unfortunately, i never owned a dreamcast or an xbox.

I agree with Jeff, constant time limits were not a cool trend.

Time limits do suck.
 
I remember my friends being so about the game and finally playing it at their houses(I didn't have a Dreamcast of my own).  Good times.

I remember this for the xbox

I dont like this game. I just...dont. The controls are too floaty, too finicky, and it does everything to weigh you down when it comes to vandalizing the streets. Especially in the later stages where you have people with machine guns and jet packs. 
 
The music is great, its really what makes the game. Because otherwise, its just too damn frustrating to play.
