IRL, gamers love games. On the internet, gamers think everything about gaming sucks.

That's why I rarely interact with people on the internet anymore.

I'm not a big shooter fan but tried the beta and decided to give this game a chance so I pre-ordered it. I'm glad that I did. I've already played it for 4 hours and plan on using this weekend to play a lot more. Comparing it to call of duty is fair I guess but this game is so much more and definitely more fun. You always feel like you are being useful. I think its worth $60 since I see myself playing it for hours and hours. Heck I've paid $60 for ryse, last of us, tomb raider and others and I played those games for 12-15 hours. And no, I didn't mind paying $60 for those games. My guess is that the ones complaining have never played the game, only played the demo or are pure Cod campers. Its ok, you are the one missing out.

I can't see this being any more than 3 stars based on what I just saw. It's generic left trigger, right trigger shooting with robots, no campaign and all server based which is fantastic for us Australians who don't have servers running yet. And you want us to pay full price for this game Microsoft? If this is what you think will make people buy your console, or for that matter even turn their XBox One back on you are very much mistaken.

Jeff is terrible at this game.

I hope the 360 version comes out ok. I have heard nothing on it.

Seeing as how a ton of people are enjoying it and the complainers are in the vocal minority I'd say you're wrong on that.

After playing a bunch of this on PC, it's very weird seeing someone stick to the ground a lot of the time and play it slow like Call of Duty when I'm flying all over the place constantly. The speed boost you get from jumping out of a wall run is huge and the momentum stacks with multiple wallrunning jumps, you can cover ground faster than a Titan after a certain point. Didn't see Jeff do much of that at all. You also move slightly faster with a pistol out instead of the primary weapon, but that's not always ideal.

The Xbone has a problem with black crush and gamma levels, it's hilarious they haven't fixed it yet in a console meant to be the ultimate multimedia machine.

It's a shoddy console all around really.

Hmmm, I don't see this game lasting too long like a TF2 for example. I see the game being played a lot for a couple of months, maybe even a full year before the excitement dies down and consumers are looking for the next big multiplayer game.

The brain dead AI bots are disheartening and the gameplay seems to have a fad type of appeal. Maybe quality updates and content packs will expand the playability, but I doubt it. I also noticed how big an improvement the PC version looks compared to the Xbox One; Not a good sign for these so-called Next-Gen consoles, at least for the slightly underpowered Xbox One.

I'm way into the shotgun. Guns that shoot far you gotta aim with seem dull. Like you're just going to draw a bead on someone and shoot them from a considerable distance? I'm going to wall run over and shotgun. Or if I don't see where it's coming from run away and hope my traversal skills get me out of danger until I can find someone in shotgun range.

At 1:13:56, I can't tell which is funnier. Jeff shooting at his evac ship, or the fact that evac ship just flew through that wall when it appeared.

And just to add fuel to the fire, my local Target didn't seem to sell many Xbox Ones, let alone sell out. With a kiosk at the checkout and all this advertising, I expected more sales.

Maybe Xbox One sales will speed up as we get to the weekend. Or maybe this'll just be a big 360 and PC game.

Smart pistol is a crappy version of the Bullseye from Resistance 2.

Titanfall is getting a lot of coverage in the enthusiast press, but you can never bank on new IP, whether it gets good reviews or not.

Man, everything I've seen and heard about this game makes me think that if it wasn't for the big names attached to the property this would have a hard time justifying why it wasn't a non-full price, possibly download only title like something like Section 8. Sounds like it has even less to it than those games mechanically and content-wise.

Still, hope people enjoy it and don't feel burned by the hype-machine doing it's inevitable work.

It's not actually a 50 GB download, it's a 21 GB download that unpacks to 50 GB. It does have a ton of audio files (98,000 of them occupying 34 GB of the final install if the audio unpacker is to be believed), but they compress the shit out of them beforehand.

I don't understand why people are hyped about this like its the 2nd coming.

I think it'd be awesome if you earned an achievement by getting killed by an AI bot. Like a badge of shame you could never get off your profile.

I see Source's shitty animation transitions are still alive and kickin' here. Valve really need to overhaul that engine...

I really love the feel of this. If I ever get a PC that can handle this/Xone I'll probably spend 25-30 hours having some fun. But I'd really love to see the world they created, especially with the trailers showing off mechs starship troopers style, the tutorial with beach holograms and some of the face models of people. I know it's not what they set out to do but I'm pretty disappointed with how much is in this game for what it is, even with how much I like what's here. Or maybe I expected since they chose NOT to put the effort into the hugely time consuming single player that the multiplayer would have a ton more detail into added supplies or modes or something.

The potential for Titanfall 2 could be huge. I'm glad I didn't pay full price for this game (PC version) because the game feels a bit bare bones despite the gameplay being pretty fucking solid and easy to get a grasp of, but the game gives me the impression that the sequel could end up being incredible now that Respawn has a solid, yet bare, foundation to work with.

The titans and movement abilities/speed of the pilots were then things that were missing for me to become fond of the CoD gameplay formula again.

I don't get why people bash this game for being multiplayer only, but no one bats an eye at all the single player only games. Oh gamers, you ultra-traditionalist conservative minds amuse me.

Pretty disappointed with this game. Seems way to bare bones. I had some fun with the beta but was expecting there to be a lot more options for customization. Seems like call of duty with one semi-fleshed out kill streak reward. Guess I'll wait to see what they do with the sequel.

Video games are traditionally single-player experiences. A single-player game generally features a more interesting story, better level designs, and better pacing, while multiplayer essentially amounts to running around in an arena shooting things. It's nice as an addition to a proper single-player mode, but it's not varied enough to really justify a $60 price tag. This game definitely seems bare bones and the "campaign" seems tacked on.

On an unrelated note, was anyone else surprised by those super shitty animations in the corner during the campaign? I kept forgetting while watching this video that this is a next gen game.

Those little story videos in the corner remind me of like when you're waiting in line for the Back to the Future ride and there's a video of Doc Brown talking to you playing on a monitor.

Man, this game is not worth $60. It could also use a few more real players this 6v6 shit is boring. Killing bots is a purely hollow victory. Especially when they are so fucking dumb. I thought they were supposed to be smarter what with all of those clouds. And yes I bought it yesterday so no "I bet you didn't even play it" comments thanks.

I can't for Titanfall 2 were all the Titans are robot horses on roller skates.
