So I didn't even know this actually came out until I saw some list of bad 3DS games somehow. I'll just watch this and see if its poo or not.

Mmmm. Chaos Theory. I have fond memories of that game. I would never want to play it on a handheld, though.

Chaos Theory is still the best Splinter Cell IMO.

What's up with the sudden rise of 30+ minute QL of months old 3DS games?

I'm certainly not complaining (I fucking love my 3DS), but it's been 3DS mania. Like raising awareness to adopt a sick puppy... In 3D.

With that said, I still have high hopes for Nintendo. There is still a lot of fiscal year left to go.

It's too dark, can't see shit, in game volume is too low.

I don't know what Ryan means by 'the genre has evolved'. This genre didn't evolve, it just died. And I think he is seriously misremembering how SC:CT played/looked.

Also its impossible to see anything in this QL, its so damn dark.

Dunno why you gave this game 40 minutes.

Man I remember well the dialogue you would trigger if you captured the guy who were talking about how "they struck in the dark" :p

Well it's dark because it is a stealth game that focuses on sneaking around in the dark...epic fail Mr. Davis

Chaos Theory was a pretty good game, but this looks like a terrible port.

Looks like a miserable experience. Games like these shouldn't be ported to handhelds at all. Playing a dark, largely gray and brown game on a tiny screen with hampered, clumsy controls is a recipe for frustration if I ever saw one.

Chaos Theory was an awesome game, as were the rest of the original Splinter Cell games. 

Jezus Mother of Pearl!! I went off laughing so hard when that guy started freaking out! Nice to have a laugh again on this site, just about what it's best at.

This game looks so aggravating and frustrating to play.

Oh wow, they ruined the last great Splinter Cell game...! It's been sort of going downhill ever since Chaos Theory, but this is just too much :(
Also, if you wanna play this game, play it on the PC-- I can't speak for any other platforms, but this game is great on the PC.

Man that guard 6 minutes into the quick look is fuckin' insane... lol. :D

This makes me want a Vita... can't wait for a portable device with at the time graphics...

Evolution doesn't necessarily mean progress. Just ask Stephen Jay Gould. I mean, he's dead. But I'm sure that's something he would have said.

You can blame the changing market for the 3DS' current misfortune, but games like this surely didn't help.

so weird, I know that lighthouse level pretty much by heart, and there's just enough that's the same in this version that I can tell that's what it is, but at the same time there are parts that completely throw me off
