Yes?

Edit: Finally. Looking forward to seeing all the Vita coverage, as I'm still not sold on it.

Very easily. I played a ton of Street Fighter on 3DS and Darkstalkers on PSP.

This is one of my day 1 Vita games and I can't wait.

Why would you buy this if you can get it for PS3 or 360?

So you can filter out touch pad players on the Vita version, but what about if you're playing on PS3 with someone using the Vita as a controller?

I don't want to play against them on the PS3 version.

Unless you are taking plane rides frequently or ride a bus for a long time, I still don't get it. Wouldn't you play it at home the rest of the time, and if you're doing that why would you choose to play it on a smaller screen with smaller controls?

Servicemembers. If I end up deployed someplace like Afghanistan, a Vita is pretty high on the list of things I will buy for my deployment. Similarly, instead of taking a million books with me, a Kindle loaded up with books.

There are plenty of people out there that need an alternative to a normal non-handheld console. Lots of people have a 30 minute+ public transit commute to work to and from work/school, lots of college students have time between classes, and there are a fair number of professions out there that require a lot of traveling and you don't have much time at home.

Also, college students. I've got a 4 hour break between two of my classes, and it really isn't worth the hour of driving to get back home- I can't wait to be playing Persona 4: The Golden instead of dicking around on the internet in the library.

Unlike what they say in this video you don't need to buy the PS3 DLC again in this version if it's already on the same PSN account.

@Landon: Unpopular opinion, but given the choice between playing the same game on a normal console or a handheld, I would prefer the handheld probably 80% of the time, commuting aside. Easier to multitask, get comfortable, play for long periods. Those thousands of hours spent on Pokémon as a kid may have something to do with it. Having never owned a PSP or PS3, the Vita is extremely appealing to me right now.

Man I so want a Vita so badly, although gaming on the go is really appealing I was start to get lazy stop carrying the devices around even though I have great games to play on each system (PSP-Xenogears PS1, DS-Hotel Dusk and much more)

Dude that is how I got this mentality as well. I had a Game Boy and spent hundreds of hours with Pokemon. You wanna know where? Curled up in my bed or on the couch with the freaking AC adaptor in the wall. I have to this day never put batteries in my old Gameboy and Gameboy Colour. While having a portable system is nice when traveling and out and about sometimes I just like to curl up in bed and play some games instead of having to turn on the consoles or PC and make a big thing about it.

I am one of those people using public transit a lot during work. Fighting games have pretty much been the best genre on handhelds for both my personal taste and them being very easy for pick up and play. I've spent a ludicrous amount of time practicing electrics on Tekken DR and Tekken 6 for PSP during train rides alone.

Same here. I played a lot of Tekken on the PSP back in the day and Tekken DR even has a better training mode compared to T6 (that's just my personal opinion). I doubt UMVC 3 Is great with the the PS Vita controls since I need the extra button in order to pull off supers and activate x factor (right trigger or R2 on the PS3 controller) with a pad.

Command Capture not being in Tekken 6 alone makes the DR training mode better.

I don't see a problem with hitting the regular supers, but the ones with 3 variations (like Taskmaster's) will be a pain. I wouldn't mind if they let me map that sort of stuff to the right stick.

PS Vita tech is awesome that you can finish a whole game by pawing at the screen as a cat zoned out to hypercat mode with a bunch of catnip. Should get extra points or stuff in the game if using an actual kitty as a human substitute to win games (should be easy to have it with a yes/no switch to detecting human hands using the touch screen, if it's not human it's feline).

The load times on this thing (this game, wipeout, etc.) are just ridiculous. That's got to be my main point against buying one right now. It's just obnoxious (especially Wipeout).

I wonder if I am the only one that finds it INSANE that you can pretty much tap the screen to win, especially online.
