Quick Look: Wipeout 2

wipeout QL are always the best

I'm okay with these shitty games only because they give us amazing Wipeout Quick Looks. Thanks for suffering for us, Ryan and Vinny :D

Said it before and i'll say it again. The free Doritos wipeout was much better than this crap

There was clearly some issues with the characters continuing to run when you were totally motionless, jumping when no jumping had taken place, jumping early, late, all over the place. The ledge stuff was pretty bad, but hey, when have they ever given a fuck about looking at instructions?

Why did they remove the rag doll physics... sucha stupid move. Stiff hit reaction animations for avatars is not satisfying as seeing your dude ragdoll off the face from something.

Vinny made watching this crappy game great.

Reminded me why I hate Ryan Quick Looks (horrible flashback to the Hard Corps QL). Vinny saved it though.

I can't tell which QL was funnier, this or Harry Potter 6. I'm sick and it hurts to laugh, but I did it anyway because it was hilarious.

Maybe Ryan shouldn't have done 4 kinect quick looks back to back?

Bethesda sues Notch for Scrolls while this gets a free pass?

I agree with you there! Just because they're having more negative and critical views about certain products (which I don't really mind) doesn't mean they're all suddenly depressed or that Giantbomb is crumbling at the seams.

I liked this better as a free Doritos game that didnt use Kinect..

Quite. Honestly, this is the 3rd wipeout game in 9 months. Why should they be optimistic about this?

This game looks horrid. I don't know how they made it through just the first episode. Characters should not run on their own, while you have no control over anything that is happening. Thankfully Ryan and Vinny took the hit and played it.

This is amazing. Screw all you negative Nancies.

The premium accounts could just allow access to the Kinect videos and totally be worth it.

This game is truly worthy of an endurance run.

I think the Quick Looks are just fine. Maybe not as great as they used to be, but how long can you really expect them to play crappy games and have fun making fun of them? Of course they were going to get tired of it eventually, and I can't blame them at all. You can only expect them do it for so long before they lose interest. After a while its just "ugh, another bad game. Lets get this over with."

I can't understand some people here. This is AWESOME, I love it.

I had some horrible Nick Arcade flashbacks when Vinny side-stepped that one platform and reached up to touch a ring. Then I realized the only difference between flailing at the Nick Arcade Wizard with a morning weatherman's green screen tech and flailing at a Kinect is that you don't win any BK shoes or Ring Pops flailing at a Kinect.

It just seems like Giant Bomb ceased being a fun side-activity to them around the point where they moved to the new offices last year. Since then, everything's just become more and more depressing. Quick Looks are more frequent, but aren't as funny. Jeff seems nearly suicidal half the time on the podcast these days, and Ryan has adopted this complete and utter apathy. It became a job job, at some point. And now they don't seem to be having fun anymore.

You people are crazy. This was hilarious as is most of their stuff...think maybe you guys are the one with the depression...
