Yay, another Wipeout game for the Kinect, this is always fun.

kinect continues to be pure shit.

I don't see any futuristic racing... what's going on here?

Love Ryan's 12 year old attitude of if he's not winning then he doesn't want to play and if he's doing bad it's obviously the game's fault.

Ryan looks like a dude that emits a ton of heat. Maybe that's why the Kinect can't figure out what the hell he is doing ever.

Wipe Out was sung by... The Surfaris, released in 1963. Not to be confused with The Trashmen (Surfin' Bird) and The Champs (Tequila).

Wipeout Quick Looks are amongst the best Quick Looks out there.

Oh man, Wipeout has finally broken Ryan I think. He was definitely not about to give this game a chance at all right from the start, not that I blame him after going through these motions twice before already.

Today is Kinect flailing day apparently.

Somehow I expected more. You'd think they'd give developers a bit more freedom to add their own obstacles and such just so the game's got more to it. Could take advantage of the surreal physics in interesting ways.

So Doritos Crash Course is based on Wipeout the show but these games came out after it, rip it off and just add Kinect controls that don't work. Keep it classy guys.

It's fun to watch, but it doesn't seem like much fun to play.

Yep, the Wii version was definitely the best/most fun to watch. The Kinect motions for this game are just too laggy and awkward to be of any use. It's not funny when their screw-ups are the fault of the controller.

I bet its getting to play gems like this that makes the job worth while. I envy you!

I actually kinda got mad at Ryan during this video. It doesn't look unresponsive, it just looks like the jumps are triggered by your jumping. Obviously, the cause has to precede the effect: they can't happen at the same time. It's not ideal for a simulation, but it's pretty clear what's happening.

And when your character is clinging to a ledge, you're obviously supposed to jump up. Ryan was getting all low to the ground and then acting disappointed when the game didn't somehow interpret that as a desire to climb upward. Wtf?

Weird... So you guys were just talkinh about it on the podxast the whole replacing the old wipeout series with this one, so me, i click on the link thing to myself "... Hmmm, when did I miss the next wipeout [the actual wipeout racing game] game being announced?!?"

@Rox360: I meant for the 360. The one on the Wii came out in August 2010, Crash Course was in December. The one on Kinect didn't come out until June this year so it's only taken them 3 months to release a new one.

Remember a couple years ago, when Quick Looks were funny?  Now they're just a depressing mess.  I can hardly stand to watch them.  Get Kessler on more Quick Looks, he isn't completely pissed off with the world.
