Pretty interesting observation regarding porn and wrestling analogies when it comes to their reckless craving for any kind of attention. At least some tease section or scene hasn't spammed me with twitter or other social network nonsense yet. Not that any of that stuff is neccessarily wrong or completely useless but I'll find that on my own if I care about it.

With how often the roster changes and how long it takes to develop the game, its impossible for the game to be 100% accurate when it is released. Pretty sure they lock the roster around June, so if you're still with WWE then, you're in the game.

Well, yeah. Obviously. But, as a wrestling fan, when I see stuff like that, it totally makes me not want to play it because it's not up to date. Luckily, I don't like wrestling games anyway, so a giant "meh" to the whole thing!

It's kind of hard for them to keep up with wrestling as a game developer because they are constantly changing shit. In Football, you could just switch teams or numbers but in wrestling a dude could shave his head, and you can't do much about that.

That said, Mark Henry still comes out as a face, and he's been a heel for months now

It's shocking to me that WWE doesn't seem to care. I know that they're kind of making stuff up as they go, but you'd think that they'd have enough of an idea of where their product might be in a year to let the developer know how they should be presenting the game ahead of time. Or, at least tell them "Hey, we fired this guy. Please remove him."

I'm not stupid. I know why it is how it is. But it creates this weird disconnect between the game and the brand that they're basing it on, and that is extremely unappealing to me.

I want to watch Jeff play through the story mode of this game.

Man wrestling is so dumb.

I know that's just how wrestling is, but as a videogame, I don't see the appeal other than watching your favorite wrestling superstars do their signature moves when you press Y. But surely your time would be better spent watching the real deal?

You are CORRECT. Fight For New York has yet to be eclipsed as a wrestling game in my opinion (All-Stars pretty much equaled it) even though Submission pretty much broke the game.

I haven't watched wrestling for years. I've lost interest in WWE when they made John Cena the face of the sport. The 90's Raw era was the best in wrestling, and it will never be duplicated.

it's funny that Jeff is trying to sound like he doesn't like wrestling and constantly makes fun of it and yet he seems to know a lot about the current roster
