I would love to see Will and Jeff do competing jar and not jar times live at the same time with a split screen and answering questions on tech and gaming and maybe making fun of each other's room. Though maybe a Ryan/Will one may be better cause they love to give each other crap most of the time.

I'm surprised but happy that Jeff seem to share my sentiments on the state of Mega Man. Still, I'm not sure that anyone else does.

Man, I hate when people write Jeff for life advice. (No offense to the widower, though.) It's not like he figured out everything. Video Games is his expertise is - or starting a business for that matter. Very good episode though.

In regards to the Hall of Fame idea, it honestly sounds like a Giant Bomb version of Screened's Besties the more Jeff discusses it. 5-15 minutes of talking about films that, while neither are on everyone's Top 5 Greatest Movies Ever nor completely obscure and unheard off, still deserve some kudos for being fantastic in their own ways. Replace 'films' with 'games' and you have the same thing. I'd go so far as to say take the Besties name and keep to the same formula, with some touches of GB goofiness (Maybe even have a 20-30 sec. segment of "The Hall of Fame of Games That Are So There They Go Here", with 5 games per video listed off with maybe one sentence that summarizes it. And y'know, if the haters keep hatin' even after that, fuck 'em).

Now, whether it should be a proper video feature as oppose to doing a simple vlog about it? I'd pick the former over the latter. Most of the stuff you guys put out is entertaining, but it's always super great when you guys produce a fully edited, structured video for the site. Besides, the feature itself isn't really demanding when you think about it. There's no real rush to get through all of the games in a certain time-frame since there's so many to choose from, unlike another series of videos that was halfway through it's run and WHERE IS MY WU-TANG RYAN GODDAMMIT.

The internet is a great content-delivery mechanism, but it is a poor content-funding mechanism. When the newspapers finally kick the bucket, most of them aren't going to live on on the web. They're just going to be gone. When traditional television and cable revenue dries up, all we're going to be left with is cheap YouTube style content. You can't fund something like Breaking Bad with an a la carte model -- at least not before it got popular.

People that are glad they've finally escaped their cable billing cycle should be thankful that there are still enough rubes out there to keep the primary revenue stream for high quality content going. Stuff like Netflix and Amazon is secondary revenue. They cannot sustain content on their own.

I know, "new business models", but not every problem has a good solution. In fact, most of them don't. At some point, hoping this stuff sorts itself out becomes akin to waiting for a dubstep genie to appear from one's ass.

Never mention Jarek again. Jarek is a failure.

Jeff, you're awesome! The whole thing was fun to watch, and like others have said, we can really see the pride and devotion you (and everybody else too) have for the website. All that passion makes us love the website and community even more. Keep it up!

yea what if something surpasses the internet. Like some kind of way of not using any physical thing and it's all in our mind, and we explore our mind and realize we can create any piece of content in our mind and it would all be entertaining and last however long you want and then share it through telepathy and BOOM I just blew my own mind. It could happen, nobody knows, humans are weird.

I totally agree with the stuff you said about the internet, perhaps the reason I'm most excited to be alive right now specifically is because I'm getting to see the rise of the internet. People, right, left, and centre seem to jump at any chance to tell you that the internet doesn't matter and isn't important, but this is the fastest, largest and most accessible content distribution platform, collection of human knowledge and means of communication humanity has ever built, if this isn't important I don't know what is.
