Here's To You, was the credits song in MGS4. I'm very excited for this, and I'm happy I listened to this. The one thing I can say is that I hope isn't there, is co-op, like Peacewalker. Also, I didn't beat Peacewalker, but I saw (on and off) my brother beat it the other day, and I think you're not missing much.

Okay, just listening to this I am mildly hyped. The Metal Gear franchise is so good at making you gush over the details pre-release.

Here's hoping the game can live up to it. I'm a little pessimistic about the story (it'll definitely feel like a "here we go again" sort of deal), but I'll certainly keep tabs on what they do.

Yeah, I'd think I'd be more excited if it were Solid Snake instead of Big Boss. I feel like we have gotten way too much of Big Boss lately.

Though the prospect of a real and proper MGS game on a home console and not a handheld still hypes me up a lot. And the fact that they seem to be taking the series in a fresh direction from a gameplay perspective.

What the eff!  I haven't even listened to the last episode yet.

Finally, the podcast made it to the GB page! Reminds me of the frame-by-frame analysis of the MGS4 trailer back in the 1UP days. In this gem, grown men from the West sound like the equivalent of Japanese School girls, hahaha :)

I myself am mostly curious about the game engine and rendering tech. Everybody focuses on Kojima, but the men behind him make the games too.

Haven't thought about this before now, but that is obviously the reason it was codenamed Project OGRE.

I'm pretty excited about the idea of an open world Metal Gear game. I think really the only things I'm worried about is a bait and switch like with MGS2 and the control set up.

I love Metal Gear, and am supremely excited about Ground Zeroes.

With that said, I just could not listen to this all the way through. The podcast starts and I get the tingles from the song. Good start. But then they just go into such mundane detail, making sure to hit every. single. beat. Like they were trying to recreate the trailer with words.

Now here I am, bored and not that much more knowledgeable about what was shown and what I should be excited about. Maybe next time talk for 30 - 45 minutes and give me the highlights instead of absolutely everything that happened that day.
