This Ain't No Game: TANG: Max Payne

i fuckin loved the 2 max paynes

I HATE seeing Ludacris in movies.  Put him, Ja Rule, and Tyryse in a van and drive that shit off of a cliff.

I forgot how awesome davis is.

I finally saw this on HBO last night and it's pretty amazing how they took a game filled with gunfights and made a very boring movie.
 
It also takes the prize for the slowest slow motion shot ever in a movie. The shotgun scene is actually twice as long as the clip here. You could actually play and finish Max Payne before Max fires his two shots.
 
Another thing which is unintentionally funny about that scene, is that the bad guy is stood directly behind Max looking through that scope and somehow he shoots 10 feet to the right and kills innocent vials of Windex.

he judges these as if they are the game. this movie wasnt really horrible but it was better than he made it sound

I asked my friend who'd seen the movie if they had a scene where a Valkyr-riddled Max found a letter from his dead wife (whose handwriting was all pretty curves) that said "You're in an action movie, Max."
 
When he said "no...?," I then proceeded to never watch the film.

Never liked Wahlberg as an actor. When I saw him cast as Payne I knew trouble was coming.

Makes you wonder how many actors turned down the role before he got it. 

They should have just explained the entire plot in the first 5 minutes and then just had 85 minutes of gun totting action.

Max Payne is poorly cast, makes strange unnecessary changes to the story from the games, and worst of all just plain boring.
