OMG, Jan just recreated my experience with The Bouncer. I rented the game before I had a memory card, so I was never able to finish the game due to no continues. AMAZING.

Can't help but wonder which coast got the better end of the deal.

I loved the bouncer, seriously, haters can hate all they want. A formative pass the controller nostalgia point in my life, it was rad and still is. I don't remember Del in the game, but that makes this even more awesome. Even if this vid destoys my memories of it.

Also, The Matrix is a classic and the other movies are really cool when you stop comparing them to the original.

Beast Wars holds up! Well, everything about it besides the animation.

Thank you Jan for resurrecting this game. My friends and I all loved it as a party game at sleepovers and birthdays (as long as the one person who had a multitap remembered to bring it).

The single player is unfortunately pretty bad though. I don't think I've ever played it to completion.

But I can’t agree with Ben on the 3rd one being good.

The Bouncer, made by Dream Factory, of Tobal (and more). There was a reason people had hope for this. But the 20:1 Cutscene to combat ratio was just too much.

It makes me so happy to hear Jan has a love for a game from my childhood!!! I loved this game too!

I . . . didn't hate The Bouncer when it came out. You can certainly plow through the game in less than 2 hours (unless I am underestimating/misremembering the amount of the cutscenes), so anyone who paid full price was bamboozled. Fun little rental, though.

Hope that Jan doesn't spam two moves for the entire game. There is admittedly no depth to its combat, but, hey, show off the weird pressure sensitive button input system that the game has.

Game still looks phenomenal, though. Clean it up a bit and release it on modern hardware to blow everyone's mind!

The Bouncer was totally fine ... as long as you rented it. I can't imagine not getting everything you needed to get out of it in one weekend.

Yeah the multi could be pretty fun.
