The Daily Dota: 05/22/2013

How is it that Bodega is the funniest one on these videos? There is no justice. You're all still speaking fucking French to me in these videos. I can tell the game looks fun but I just can't see myself falling down that rabbit hole. I don't have time or the PC needed to get addicted to this nonsense. This is what toy commercials wanted to do to kids in the late 80's.

Just starting out myself. I have a few public matches under my belt after spending what seemed to be a month of reading and watching dota videos.

If you wanna play with other newbies, join the giantbomb chatroom in Dota2, i see a lot of people hooking up there and playing.

I know this is gonna sound elitist, but i really have a hard time watching this, just because I've played way too much Dota2 the last year. Seeing a KOTL not having Chakra on cooldown all the time and annoying the fuck out of the opponent with Illuminate just cringe me :D. I do know what Brad is going through though, i'm utterly addicted all the sudden, and even been going into trading just to get a cool courier and announcer :S.

Hope he countinues the feature, even despite my elitist cringing, its fun to see the graduate improvement Brad is going through, and the gang is fun to listen to.

One suggestion: When i started out Dota2 i followed another newbie (TotalBiscuit) and his "daily dota". The one thing i really appreciated was that he always went through all the spells when he started the game, that way you got a good understanding of the hero he was playing, and it speeded up my progress of learning new heroes. I think Brad was about to do it in one of the dailies before he got interrupted and never got back to it.

Brad is slowly getting better at last hitting. When i first watched him he was only getting like 1 cs per minute.
