Do an experiment: pour a few drops of whole on a surface, then a few drops of skim. The skim will look like diluted paper towel water.

Driving home and I've had to pull over to listen to this Nick Cage attempt at a 'British' accent. Sounds to me like he's trying to channel The Hound from Game of Thrones only someone has told him to over pronounce the letter 'T' every chance he gets.

Still, it's miles better than Dick Van Dyke's attempt at Cockney in 'Mary Poppins'

While I approved of the game and it having a price, I think that to write off all critics of That Dragon, Cancer by saying "fuck off" and "cuz capitalism" is very disingenuous.

The idea that anyone can roll their eyes or ever complain about "having" to work E3 is ridiculous. Millions of people dream of being able to go just once. Meanwhile, they are *lucky* enough to attend or cover these momentous events in an industry we love. This is one thing I actually agree with Dan about for once.

You got me real curious about American thespian Dustin Diamond, so I looked it up. He pulled a knife in a bar fight and served a four month sentence last summer. A guy got stabbed in the brawl, but it seems they couldn't prove Dustin did the stabbing?

Giant Milkcast

We drink semi skimmed milk. In the UK it's the one with green bottle tops. I don't know what the american equivalent would be.

You either drink human milk in front of a crowd while being filmed or nothing; none of this cow milk nonsense (tho seriously @alex, you got my approval for your "skimmies to the sun" policy, but what was that nonsense on no cheese? Shame on you!)

About the whole award categories, definitions, etc thing: I just worry about the fact that, as we've seen, there is a certain impatiance towards the speed of change that causes a certain "unnatural" forcing on the subject which, in turn, creates unnecessary resistance and fractures; instead of just letting change be organic and "evolutionary". I wonder if it has something to do with the natural friction created between personal growth and change versus the ones in society

Here in Finland most people drink "skim milk".

That Fates stuff sounds pretty dumb. I usually prefer having the original story untouched by localization, even if it's really bad, but I mostly just want to play that game already, so if they have to touch up some of the storyline stuff to make it read better, I don't really care that much about it.

Also I'm an almondmilk person, recently switched from soy. I've tried drinking whole milk after years of soy and it's just so gross now.

The fact that the first hour of this episode features both an extended conversation about how Harrison Ford gets his weed and a super illuminating, smart discussion about That Dragon, Cancer is exactly why this is my favorite podcast.

I drink skimmed milk now, after a long fruitful period of enjoying whole milk, also can't taste the difference between light mayo and regular, same for lite Philadelphia and regular. I feel blessed.

At E3 2014 and 2015 Nintendo booked a stage for their Smash Bros. Tournament and the Nintendo World Championships. I think this year they book the stage to show off NX.

@alistercat: British "semi-skimmed" milk is the same thing as American "2%" milk.

@dougfunk15: The reason it is work for them is they have to produce content with what they see at E3. That's why they are able to go to E3. It isn't like they just get to walk around, play games, talk to developers and then go home. On top of that, they have to put in hours and hours of work to put together articles and videos and podcasts talking about what they saw, edit together interviews cut with B-roll footage. It isn't a big party for industry folk, there is a lot of work that goes into it.

Austin, the FE Fates stuff is censorship... BUT is a understandable one given that it truly sounds like it was anime representation of LGBT issues as it worst. Alex is right, someone in the editiing room in Japan should have said something about it to begin with it, and in the ideal world the way Nintendo should have deal with the western release would have been give that character the ability to get into same sex marriage in the localized version.

Just saying, is censorship but the censored part is incredible stupid to begin with, so I have mixed feelings about it.Thought in the end I don't mind the scene gone.

@vinny's comment ~1:30:00 about somebody co-opting a work in spite of somebody's authorial intent just made me think of Starship Troopers and the way some fans appreciate it as a parody, as some not so much.

Almond milk or nothing!

I actually can't tell the difference between skim milk and whole or anything in between. Skim milk appears a little less creamy but as far as I can tell it tastes exactly the same.

Unless you're going with weird flavoured skim milk. Like almond milk. That stuff tasted super watered down.

Watch this video and try to tell me with a straight face that Harrison Ford doesn't smoke pot.

That Dragon, Cancer is to me like "12 Years a Slave" or "Requiem for a Dream": Some work of art I want to experience but to afraid to do it. Sounds like something worth playing once but never again.

I think the video effects in Oxenfree are more inpsired by old TV rather than VCR.

@soundlug: I agree. I've been finding it strange that nobody had a problem calling it "censorship" when Nintendo of America would make changes to games like Castlevania or Final Fantasy VI when bringing them over, but nowadays, some people really tiptoe around the term.

I just hope that the scene hasn't been completely stripped from the American version, and at least gets one of those delightfully awkward rewrites (preferably one where some sort of food that's obviously Japanese is called a hamburger).
