I know that for me personally the jump I experienced from 1080p to 1440p on my PC monitor upgrade was fairly huge. This may have something to do with the distance I am from the monitor, but it is certainly very noticeable to me in my instance.

Hopefully it will also be inclusive of those who don't share the same political views.

@duckerby: I might agree with you normally but for no good reason things like eye glasses and neck tie bother me. People don't tend to say that outside the US so I'm not used to hearing it except from American TV.

@dougfunk15: No idea if you're kidding or not. They're making it pretty clear that being tolerant is something everyone should want for a community to strive. Positivity in a time where it is needed to is very important and Giant Bomb is not known for delivering persimistic/destructive news. Personality driven content WILL lack in quality if you're bummed about something.

They always done a good job caring about the situation at hand and they're pretty good at reality checks. Tell it how it is, I'd say! Being inclusive doesn't exactly mean I like to only hear stuff that is comforting for my worldviews.

I love Mass Effect, and I have one of the hoodies. I just recently started replaying ME2 and 3. I'm cautiously optimistic for Andromeda, and I'll probably end up getting it as soon as it's out.

@vinny My possibly incorrect understanding is that the reason Kentucky Fried Chicken switched to "KFC" was because of the negative connotation with the word "fried" and fattening foods.

Getting a PS4 Pro today to go with my PSVR. I'm personally super happy that Sony went for a quicker pace. I didn't have a PS4 to begin with, and buying a 3 year old console is pretty sad. I think this will be good for consoles overall.

Early reports say that PSVR is improved a lot by supersampling.

I desperately need someone to animate their Star Wars bit about Jabba's drug palace. Holy shit, I laughed so hard my co-workers gave me weird looks.

So going to be very careful here. Giantbomb can be somewhat inhospitable for more conservative views and thinking that conservatism is buttstomping (to use Vinny's words) on others. Not nearly as bad as other places but it isn't like the views of all our hosts are not rather immediately obvious. Not a bad thing really but it is there.

Overall I'd say GB goes less into politics & social issues than say Waypoint, Polygon, Kotaku, & others. That's one of the main reasons this is my primary go-to site for gaming.

That being said, it is indeed very quite clear the entire staff leans politically in the same direction as 99.9% of their peers in games media. And that's totally fine.

As one who does not follow similarly, it does get a bit uncomfortable at times. As long as the hyperbole doesn't get too extreme (e.g. the world is ending! It's the second 9/11!), then I'll continue coming.

@zaldar: Not to poop on ya opinion, partially because I'm more centric when it comes to political opinions, but for some people it is buttstomping.

One of my friends is Transsexual and I'm pretty sure hes not confortable that the vast political establishment thinks that he has some sort of mental illness. Me and my friend aren't americans and also live, so that thought of alienation is kinda surreal. Maybe it IS just hyperbole and Trump is perfectly fine with Homo- and Transsexual people. Lets wait and see, I would love to be proved wrong :)!

I have nothing against Trump being President as long as it doesn't get into "the world should bow to my views only and fuck Free Speech that is against me!" I also hope that there won't be any political fanaticism coming from this since it seems for me, from an outsiders perspective, that some Americans see Trump as some sort of "total salvation" or other overzealous things. But I'm certain that most Americans who voted for Trump voted for him the same reasons they voted for Bush, Cain and Romney before and thats obviously Normal and OK. Part of the reason why people became so overzealous and in parts even fanatic for either candidate was partially due of the Bombasticism from the Media after all, at least from my perspective it seemed like it.

That was one extreme Election period, I hope 2020 will turn into normality again where people can again vote without any sort of outside pressure.
