Of course it is. Saints Row 2 had motorcycles named both Kaneda and Tetsuo, respectively.

Almost certainly. There's another motorcycle called the Kenshin, which is the name of another popular anime character.

Man, I'm a little past the part you guys played and I already put in 8 hours.

This game had me at gimp chariots.

The cat & mouse coop game was in SR2 as well. What's unfair is how some reviews compared that mode to the one found in GTAIV The Lost & Damned, despite SR2 conceptualising it before GTAIV did. Maybe it's because The Lost and Damned is a little more recent and easier for reference, but sometimes it appears as if everyone simply forgot about a lot of the really awesome stuff in SR2.

Saints Row The Third is the better game, but a lot of what's in there was originated through its predeccesor.

Um... so yeah...

Sports by Tim and Eric is on the soundtrack.

As much as it pains me to say it: Saints Row The Third might be GOTY.
