So I picked this up on the back of the madness on the stream, and the article on Rock Paper Shotgun. This thing is broken in a way which I find really appealing.

For those curious, the image of the vase is incorrect and should show it in the center of the candles, the Devs acknowledged this mistake on the 20th of June but it hasn't been fixed. Then again I found a bug report from this time last year which I was able to reproduce.

As for the Pepper Grinder, the best command is "Swap the Pepper Grinder and the Salt Shaker", it wont work if you try to manually exchange them or pick one up in isolation. There is a similar puzzle in one of the bedrooms where you need to stack three Board games, moving the only one in the correct position makes it unsolvable.

What a turd of a game. Vinny has the patience of a saint to give this a second try.

They probably should have been saying green briefcase when there was actually a green one on the shelf, as well as when multiple briefcases were present.

Alas, I added the game to my Steam wishlist.

Also, every time they tell Mike to "get the briefcase" he points back to the first one he placed on the conveyor belt. That's... not helpful.

The game seemed to keep wanting to pick up the same briefcase. I think the reason why that was happening was because it was permanently associating the term briefcase with the first green briefcase he selected. That is why it kept turning and trying to grab the briefcase from the top shelf of Beijing. Another possible explanation is that the game is broken.

So here's a fucking enlightening quote from a developer on the game that I think I found on a random game news site:

About "pick up the Green Suitecase" indeed: I don't like spoilers, but did you pay attention to the news in the airport? And did you notice the guy who boarded the hovercraft taxi? Was he carrying anything? And what if you saw a guy looking like him and dressed like him, when YOU landed, carrying a green briefcase?

In other words, I think the people who made this game are FUCKING CRAZY. That's probably harsh, but that's a pretty hilarious thing to expect players to pay attention to.

And to anyone else who tries and fails at this and wants to succeed, it's the BIG briefcase looking thing. Just, look at Agent 47 at the beginning of the sequence.

I actually think that the setup of the game (You're a Corporate Executive for a Cyber-Punky Japanese Robot Mega-Conglomerate) is REALLY cool.

And then, for some reason, the developers focus the game around the PC equivalent of the Kinect, Voice Recognition.
