Hope it is $20 like Brad said. Amazon has the physical copy at $40 for some reason, which seems a bit high for that type of game.

If we replace Tron with iRobot, then Brads observations about the environment make perfect sense.

Man, this feature has really added something great to this site. Im used to only getting content for a game at its release, but now we are getting stuff months in advance. Really cool!

I'm in the mood for more Trials, so this looks rad. A bit too much sun right up in your face on a couple of those levels though, I could see that being a bit annoying.

I knew there was going to be content for this game, but didn't expect it this soon!

The physical copy also includes the season pass, which I assume is another $20 for the digital version. Or maybe it's $10 and there's a boxed-copy surcharge.

I hope there's a way to tone down that sun glare, giving me a headache.

@narujoe93: Agree, it's a way of doing "previews" that I actually like! I haven't read a written preview in about 10 years, but this is great stuff.

I was really really bummed that this wasn't going to be on PS4, cause Trials had always been an XBLA exclusive.

And then I saw the Playstation buttons on the UI and was real confused.

Considering how mean RedLynx can be when they make tracks, I'm sure the sun blinding you is completely intentional.

Trials HD and especially Evolution were some of my favorite games of the last generation.

Also, this Unfinished format is exquisite.

Yep, it feels like its time for a new Trials game.

Some of the stuff on that menu looked interesting that you guys didn't talk about at all, what are Tournaments? What's Step (Into the Light)?

Yes, the PC version of Trials Evolution was straight up garbage when it came to optimization, for how little that game has to show and how rote the graphics are it ran like shit on machines that ran stuff like BF3/Witcher 2 on higher settings just fine. And trust me frame rate drops when you are trying to be very precise with your movement and momentum make it a very frustrating experience.

So if this new game run properly on PCs now, colour me stoked, because Trials is rad!

MOAR TRIALS GIVE TO ME

I immediately groaned when I heard 'trick system'. But then came around when it became clear that it is not a simple Tony Hawk button and direction press. That's a little more interesting.

Shit! I need to finish Trials Evolution still!

There should be First Person camera option. You get that sense of speed and jumps

In an interview from earlier today, Ubisoft confirmed that they're pulling a Ubisoft and..

..there's 210 people working on this game.

I've seen people going crazy over that, but that's probably just how Ubisoft manages such fast turn around. 210 people working on a game for 1 year can't cost that much more than ~100 people working for 2 or more years, right?

So wait, Brad said it's $20 but Amazon has it for $40 preorder. Hopefully that's a place holder price. $40 is quite a lot more than Evo was.

If they actually make it work like this without blowing budget, without EA-spouse situations, without the staff having to sell everything they own to survive and keep a home, then Ubi are doing some absolutely amazing things that the rest of the industry maybe could learn something from.

(Or not, Ubi pays more, scores higher)

Man, I can't wait for this. As long as the controls are still as tight as they have been, this will be blissful.

Is Tron Brad's only point of reference for a futuristic aesthetic?

Never got the last two games, this might be a good point to get in on something I've been interested in for a while.
