It's good to see what this actually is, after a version of it was randomly attached to Shadow Warrior. Cute concept, at the least.

I think the Shadow Warrior version was enough for me.

Edit: Shadow Warrior runs on Flying Wild Hog's own engine, not Unreal Engine.

Is the framerate borked for the video or the game? I'm thinking its the video as they don't seem to be saying anything about it (And after watching the Titanfall 360 QL I think they'd be mentioning *every* little foible in a game).

This should come to PS4.

Played the demo off the dev's site, which is admittedly not as recent as the Early Access version (but it's free; you can find the link in the FAQ section of the game's Steam forum).

Like Vinny, I really like the concept of this. In practice, it feels about as tedious and soul-crushing as I imagine being a real space horror janitor would be.

Yes, they definitely did, but can't remember which UPF. It was somewhat recent though; likely within a few months.

Is it just me or does this only play in 240/360p on the youtube version?

When there's more "game" here this could be really good.

Funny idea and I think the execution for the funny idea is good enough, I just don't see it having any legs for a real game unless a ton of tuning and features were added, but even then, I can't see myself pretending to clean just because I like the concept.

@loktarogar: When videos are uploaded on YT, at least GB's videos, they're uploaded as 240p at first, and then quickly updated with 360p to 720p. You just have to give it a few moments. It can be watched in 720p now,

I really love the idea and the game as a commentary on violent video games. That said I can't really imagine it being fun to play for more than 10 minutes, at least not in its current state.

Ya, I played the one they released around christmas last year. I think it's a funny concept. At least the christmas one was. I don't know if it plays as well as a full game but they have it priced pretty adequately for what it is I think.

I like that it's laborious, i've been following this game for awhile now and let me tell you, once you've made a map spotless it's one of the most satisfying things in gaming i've done in a long time.
Something else which helps make it worthwhile is taking a screenshot of an area before and then after.

I'm with Vinny, the idea here is really neat. Also, this really put me in the Christmas spirit.

Oh god it's far too early on in the year to be hearing Christmas music.

I think if there was some kind of grading system, tied to a level up or upgrading mechanic, maybe with some time leaderboards or something, this could be pretty good. Better than it would have any right to be, for sure.

All the time I spent watching this cleaning up game, I was getting more aware of how my time would be better spent cleaning my slightly less bloody but as messy appartment. That's a thing I guess.

I was totally going to recommend this as well.

I think it could even be a moderately fun mechanic, but I doubt I could play for more than 10 minutes without getting SUPER motion sick. I had to stop watching the video after 3 or 4.

I think I know how to make this game more "fun." After finishing the level's cleaning stage, you get to play the next guy making the mess. I'm thinking 2 and a half minutes of rocket launchers, chainsaws, and gibs everywhere.

Then back to cleaning.

This seems like a 30-minute joke extended into an actual product that people pay money for.

Oh man, that would be so awesome! If it was just like a Dirty Jobs parody where you join the crew of a space station clean up team and get in trouble that would be great.

I think this would be a great game if it was less about laboriously cleaning up messes and more about weird puzzle solving and piecing together what had happen there. But not in a linear puzzle solving format where you have to solve it to leave the level, but more like if you figure out the puzzles good for you, if not then you're just missing out on cool easter eggs and story sequences. I would love to play this if it was just a world filled with easter eggs to other violent games.
