@2headedninja: Ryan continues to show the most appropriate prudence when dealing with things on streams or videos, and I'm glad that he was around for this as well. Someone has to call out Rorie occasionally for his rather embarrassing, uncouth remarks. I mean, I think that he's as well meaning as one can be, but he seems incapable of restraint when discussing sensitive matters and often he simply tries too hard.

I still have a Gamefly account and the game I still have is Toy Story 3 for the Xbox 360. My queue is pretty sad, my next game is NBA 2k6. I am a horrible person too. LOL

Guys, Hover was the first computer game I ever played on our Gateway 2000. Also watching Drew use Windows 95 nearly gave me an anxiety attack.

I used to love this show, now I only like it.

Stop repeating games that have been QL'd, unless there's something really special to show. Love the weird stuff like cat Mario. Lots of laughs.

Why is Matt on the show?

I'm sure he's a nice guy and all but he's really messes with the chemistry. I think most of us have that annoying friend who doesn't seem to realize he's annoying everyone, but why do we have to have it on Unprofessional Fridays?

His jokes aren't funny, he uses the chat as a way to interject himself into the conversation and derails comedic momentum every time he does. And the (justified) annoyance from the rest of the Bomb Crew just makes it really awkward.

I'm sorry, but he adds nothing to the value of the show.

Oh. I forgot that Win95 did come with some crappy 3D games to show off it's game playing potential. Win95 seemed so cool back when it came out. It was such a big shift. The Weezer video had "Happy Days" clips in it. "Ooooooh. Weeeee. Oooooh. I look like Buddy Holly."

Edit: There is actually a remake of "The Journeyman Project" on the Mac subtitled "Pegasus Prime". It ran through a VM. It was done after the third game, so it has way better production values.

Edit: Rub some Brasso on the scratched disk.

I love how Bioforge is now an inside joke for half of the GB staff and neither Ryan, Jeff or Brad understand anything when the rest are laughing about it!

Does anyone have video issues for this? specifically at points where the speed of Cat Mario is multiplied by using the space bar the video tends to repeat and get out of sync on my end...

Great show, Don't listen to these complainers that probably aren't even subscribers.

But I can agree, Matt tries so hard it makes me irritated, so many dumb questions (albeit from chat).

Is it a bad sign that any time someone starts talking about the Xbox One I start feeling this clenching feeling in my chest and it feels like the room is closing in around me?

Is that normal?

The lack of acknowledgement for Vinnie's Beck reference is tragic.

The perpetually annoying thing about Rorie (well, one of them) is the constant use of weaselly phrases like "I believe" and "I seem to recall"

But I do agree with those that ask for the chat questions to be toned down a bit. Yes they were far too rare before Rorie started handling the chat, but now they're being a tad overdone. Maybe half the chat interaction for a start.

I personally still like the show and I know this kind of goes against the format of what the show is about, but I think this show would be a bit better if maybe there was some sort of format? Like if each person gets assigned a kind of role on the show. Patrick could do the shitty/really hard games, Drew could do old PC games, Ryan or Jeff could play the new games coming out for the week and so on. That or like others are saying, stop playing games that came out that week. It's better when you play older games or just flat out weird because you then get really interesting discussions about the developers or funny things happen.

Other than that, I enjoyed it.

I really hope that they get things back on track soon. Maybe they just need another break from doing a friday show. Everybody loved it when it first started, then it got stale, when it came back as Unprofessional Fridays it was fun again, but recently it has lost it's "unprofessional"-ity. Maybe they should break it up into seasons like the 1Up Show, or just take a summer break like Jon Stewart. I'm not sure, but color me concerned.

The fact that Vinny didn't get to play Kerbals in this is a travesty that must be amended, as watching Vinny attempt to be a kosmonaut is one of lives great treasures.

@uberexplodey: Yeah, the show was not great this time. I blame it on the constant barrage of chat questions. The chat is best seen, not heard.

The bombers playing DnD would be amazing. And a lot of fun for them too I'm sure.

Watching this post E3 and I don't think you realize how prophetic you are...

Strangely I'm finding these really stressful to watch now, because I'm constantly on edge waiting for Rory to say something really stupid or uncouth, or ask a stupid question from people in the chat. I think maybe I'm getting that same vibe from the rest of the GB guys as well...they seem to be barely suppressing rolling their eyes every time he speaks.

Rory seems like a nice guy but he's not witty in the slightest and doesn't really seem to know anything about videogames - which just makes it seem very odd that he's on Giant Bomb at all

I think I'm gonna have to agree with some of the the complaints about Rorie. He has a great personality and I'm glad he's at Giant Bomb, it's just his constant random and just plain stupid remarks from the chat can really derail some of the conversation. I like having the chat available it's just after every minute it can get annoying. Also, I think the guys should try to pick games more well suited for the show. Games like Jack Lumber and ELEMENT4L don't always make for the best conversation, and it seems like a lot of the guys lose attention to the game. Otherwise, this is definitely my favorite feature on the site right now, and keep up the great work.

sad I missed live beer chat. Beer is a thing I know a lot about and am quite passionate about. Joey Fameli, when he was here (now with tested) knew his beer. I remember on an old happy hour or someting he was asked what his fav brewery was and he answered Russian River, which is a great answer. One of my favs too.

Remember when interns manned the chat, and were TERRIFIED of Ryan Davis, to the point that they wouldn't ask a question for like 45 minutes, until Ryan suddenly remembered they had interns and would ask if the chat had anything to say.

That was probably just about right, as the chat produces about one good question every 45 minutes.

There's a lot of really weird foreshadowing going on with Ryan. Brad saying "We're all going to die soon anyway" in Ryan's second last UF, Ryan saying he was in Hot Dog Heaven in his last Quick Look and most eerily Ryan tweeting "I'm on day three, I've gotten collectively maybe 10-12 hours. It's not like I'm gonna die, but C'MON. VACATION.". Weird.

It's only been 24 hours but I miss him so much.

O god the cat mario segment was too good. What a devious and awesome game, perfectly suited to watch these guys play. Watching Jeff try to contain his glee and giggles in the minute following breaking the news to Patrick that he overshot the flag was too fun.

Kind of sad that Ryan was kind of MIA in the last few of these shows that he was in, as that's why I went back to watch these as I hadn't yet. Seemed like he didn't want to really be there and he kept disappearing, feels like maybe they should just scale this show back a bit time wise so they guys don't get too bored like that, maybe just a hour and a half would be plenty. Also, Rorie needs to stop trying to force convo so much and try so hard, "the chat" is not some glorious bastion of whitty comments and poignant questions that needs to be referenced every 30 seconds... try every 30 minutes maybe, sorry but internet chat rooms are just not suited to being referenced on shows more than once in a blue moon. The show just flowed better when he had to bail.
