Thank you for the note @drewbert I came here as this popped up in my "download link" rss feed, but the link was to this page not the file. I wonder if it is even possible to fix/not occur or if its all just automatic cms stuff. I'll check back tomorrow for the link :)

I remember that. It's been a while since I've had a jam-packed game of Q3/QL like that, it was fun. I was spook. I believe you ruined a kill streak of mine at some point.

condemned 2 was great! That bear scene is legendary and I liked all the investigation stuff

return fire was really fun to watch them play.

whats up with that awful quake live crosshair! I haven't played in months but I decided to see how much this cost and it said it was already in my library. Awesome. Guess I will be playing some rocket arena tonight! Will be nice after getting 80+ levels in overwatch and kiiinda burning out on that and just wanna get some rail gun fragging in. Anyways, change the crosshair to just a normal + and your life will be better in quake. I used to play in a top 10 TF clan back in the day and everyone was an HPB and I was on a 56k modem and could compete with people in most aspects except sniping vs a college T1 with a 10 ping when I had a 370 ping but still could pull off some amazing shots. Quake / Quake 3 had the best netcode on earth. It has been hard to play any different games over the years so I am very happy to see the resurgence of games like Quake.

I hope to god machine games is making a Quake. Please, please please. Quake champions for multiplayer and single player machine games Quake would make my whole life better.

That first game reminds me that Glory Days 3 was supposed to look like that. Or, well, AirMech.

Though anything with military vehicles like that makes me want more Armor Alley based games.

Was audio off? Whenever people were speaking there was lots of background noise?

it's been gone over before, their mic audio is gated and cuts off unless they're speaking, and they have an excessively loud AC that goes off so you only hear it when they speak.

unfortunatley they seem to have been able to do all they can about it.

Prey is a fantastic game, recently played the PC version i highly recommend it.

Prey looks very similar in design with some parts of Duke Nukem Forever.

I think that Quake Live was free for those who played it on Steam when it was free to play. At least I have no recollection of buying it.

@mmarsu: This should be available when the downloadable version of the video is. I'm guessing there was some sort of recording/encoding issue last night. You can trust Drew to get it sorted out, but that dude deserves a weekend as well!

I think you are right. I specifically remember downloading it and playing one match to make sure I got it for free when it changed from F2P to $10.

I also realized that I've owned Renegade Ops for years and have never really played it. I should probably get on that.

Something I've never understood about Prey: if you have portal technology, why build a giant complex mechanical slaughter chain that moves through the ship? Just portal the cattle straight to the stabby kill machine.

For that matter, why have doors on a spaceship when you have portals? The portals seems to by just be lying around in boxes, so it isn't like they are expensive, complicated, or dangerous.
