I actually really liked this UPF. Seeing Jeff playing shit games is still just as fun to watch as seeing a good game get played.

As it turns out, shitty games aren't a ton of fun to watch.

Mitsurugi is actually pretty good, but skipping the Tutorial made that game take like 10x longer to get through the waves.

Vita seems like an excellent place for indie games, gonna get one! (never thought I would get another handheld)

Just popping in to say Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae has never had a framerate problem on my mid-tier laptop. Jeff probably kept HDR on or something.

I like everyone, but on the podcast Brad's catch phrase when talking to Jeff is always "I know, but what I'm saying is" after being corrected. I don't find Rorie argumentative. A flowing discussion when someone has the correct answer isn't arguing unless your the person sensitive to that.

Not crazy about the TSRL-style UPFs. Maybe it's the way the games are decided? I'll have to watch live next time. Anyway, still a good episode!

I wonder if Japanese gamers glaze over in a similar way when they see CoD clones or other types of games typically more popular in the West.

@juggaloacidman: Friends can be very mean to each other, especially male friends. I've never had siblings but I imagine I would have been such an asshole to them if I did, going on how me and my friends interact with each other, it's like wrestling as kids but... evolved? devolved?

If I knew I was being recorded while being with friends this would only serve to heighten things, it's more hilarious to not break character until after shooting is over etc.

I don't know if it's still true now, but I know CoD has at least previously sold 100,000 to 200,000 copies over there, which is usually about the best you can hope for with most "non-native" games in a given market, so there's definitely a part of the Japanese audience that eats up that stuff while rolling their eyes at the anime girls like a lot of people do overseas.

Yeahhhhhhh....this show really didn't age well. Drew's definitely right. Even the original Toy Story looks weird at this point.

I think maybe they were just in a mood to rag on shit they haven't really heard of, but Jeff playing it probably didn't help cause it's definitely not a Jeff game.
