Really fun to watch this live. Shame that a lot of people in the chat weren't in to Drew's Japanese free-to-play game. Granted, I'm wrapped in the tendrils of various Japanese smart device games so Drew's segment was interesting for me to spot the few differences Grand Sphere was doing.

Miiverse Sketch and Super Mario Maker always manage to bring in the mirth.

It's a childrens claymation animation series with nothing but characters making weird noises and its both hilarious and mildly disturbing at times.

About 19 minutes in, @rorie says that "Gold Rush" was a wrestler all along, and you can see @danryckert struggle to figure out if he heard what he thinks he heard.

I use f.lux. It's not for eye strain as far as I know. It's to adjust your eyes to indoor lighting. It does some funky stuff to your brain to help you feel tired. Regular lighting on screens mimics daylight and tricks your brain into thinking it's daytime. We as humans naturally want to sleep when it's night. F.lux will make your screen look more like incandescent lighting so your mind and body feels tired as it naturally should. I find it works pretty well and I don't really notice it much until it turns off.

i'll have to read up on it as that seems a little odd. i work late a couple of days and i don't know if i want to be falling asleep then.

The Mario Maker level IDs are in hex so there's only 16 values per field. Windows calc says there's 140737488355328 possible IDs, if they are contiguous. However they aren't, Nintendo announced 1 million levels uploaded when the IDs were already over 4 million so there have to be gaps.

With one of the four fields stripped out there would only be room for 2 billion levels, if we assume only 1/4th of the numbers are actually usable (because IDs at 4 million and a press release at 1 million) then that would only leave half a billion possible uploads before the system runs out of IDs. Sounds like a lot but remember there are about 2 billion unique IP addresses out there and we've already run out of those.
