Whew! Just got home for a long day at work. Glad to see this is up, always brightens up my night.

Holy shit, that Space Engineer game has so much potential. I am imagining giant space battles. Oh god, it can't come soon enough.

It's that other Unprofessional Friday I've heard so much about.

I wish there had been a little more zaniness, but you can't top yourself every week I suppose. Looking forward to the charity livestream stuff this weekend.

A Star Destroyer is bigger, has a bigger payload, more powerful weaponry, longer range, and on top of plenty of other advantages they also have plenty of smaller, agile fighters to engage the Enterprise as well.

Also, Darth Vader did not pilot a TIE Interceptor but a TIE Defender.

Lastly, I love PC games. I love console games. I am really bummed to kind of consistently hear Brad's disparaging of anything console gaming. Also, I don't trust them to make a competent version of Dark Souls 2 for PC. I'll have to wait post-launch to make that decision. Right now I am pretty sure I will just get it on PS3. The PC version of DS is pretty subpar and unoptimized. I don't think its fair to say PC gaming is better when you sometimes need to spend the amount of a console on just a video card at times.

I know this struck some as dry, going by the comments so far. But they can talk shop as a near last resort anytime in my book. I have been wanting more insight and commentary of any kind into the console launches, and I tend to like it from this bunch.

The Rawbots must have been cool to somebody. And what Brad was playing was of course a core RPG. And also I re-remembered Tested, I visited to see Will, Norm and Gary! Tested and Rorie's site I so truly miss on the day to day/nothing new at GB basis. For other ppl. one of those 2 could have been the primary instead.

If you guys like Space Engineer you should look into StarMade.

Also StarMade is free and has multilayer.

Well I just imagined a ship better than a Star Destroyer, so deal with that.

Man, Rorie really brings UPF down when he doesn't like a segment, lots of sighing and being passive aggressive with other people. Its a shame because he makes very engaging conversation and commentary when he is interested in something.

I guess he doesn't need to pretend or anything, but it helps if everyone is supporting a segment and making it enjoyable to watch.

I don't know how the 360 controller became the go to for shooters, I find that it's much easier and more comfortable to use L1 and R1 instead of the triggers to shoot and I much prefer the looseness of the analog sticks on the DS3. I'm actually disappointed in the changes Sony are making to the analog sticks on the DS4, as I think the sticks on the DS3 are perfect.

Almost every UPF, Brad sets his glass on the arm of that couch and it makes me nervous as fuck. One day he is going to knock it over and i'm gonna lose my shit. haha.

This made me go play some Space Engineers. That game is fucking great. I only hope they take it in the right directions.

The game selection for these shows seems to be getting worse.

@ma_rc_01: Flying a TIE Defender is one of the big reasons why TIE Fighter was such an awesome game.

This guy if he is honest doesn't really surprise me. There are always a varying number of ppl. who find they prefer something and or it works well for them. What I would say for me is I gravitated to the 360 controller. But I never minded the Dual shock much, except I disliked the lack of triggers and some counter intuitive shooting mapping (for me). I think what really bothered me was the edges of those bottom bumpers, and I did hear that one comment about abrupt edges on the PS4 cont. The 360 bevels those triggers, and the undersides are smooth.

There are people who play PC FPS games using QWES ASDX ZXCS or even the arrow keys...I think the only thing that would shock me is if someone said they think the N64 had the best controller.
