Also Jeff has started a bad trend of getting sick on live shows (Rocket League, Destiny Raid).

Kentucky is usually pretty late to trends, but a two decades ago, when I was in school it was called "gleeking". Yes, it is gross, and yes I enjoyed doing it. If its any consolation, because you are producing directly from your saliva duct, its likely more sterile than spit that's just sitting in your mouth. You know as sterile as saliva can be anyway.

About 1200 hours of CS GO myself and yes it's huge in Europe and Asia.

None of the people at Giant Bomb could ever play it though. I dread the day they actually play it on UPF. I'd very much like the game to get more exposure on big sites though. It's the best competitive multiplayer shooter around!

I'm from Virginia. Gleeking is a solid way to piss of your classmates and then pretend that you have no idea what they're talking about while they act very mad in high school. So it's at least an American thing.

Certainly wasn't expecting Football Manager to get a mention on a Giant Bomb stream. Nice little surprise.

You mean the show being bad? Because yeah. No offense, but when I saw Jeff wasn't there I already knew... fell asleep watching the archive on this one. Really shows how good Jeff is at making these entertaining.

So I was looking after my sisters kitten one time and it ended up diarrhea shitting inside my pc i buit just a few weeks earlier. Got on the top fan and inside onto the heat-sink and video card....i was not particularly happy about that.

@mokan: People's accents can fluctuate depending on where they are and who they're surrounded by. Danny's accent when he came back from Ireland and was on the F1 podcast was the strongest I've ever heard him when speaking normally. I notice it a lot because my family is from all over the home nations and it's noticeable when our accents slip back to whatever our surroundings are and start using more regional phrases.

Danny showing a game about a cartoon man-child spitting makes the real life man-child start spitting. Ultimate Chicken Horse was a UPF delight. Very fun to watch!

I spilled a four loko on my 360 pad once, so I unplugged it, dismantled it washed all the pieces individually and wrapped them in paper towels and waited half a day. I still use it today.

It may have just been an extremely local thing, but kids in the area of South Carolina where I grew up called it "skeeting" - this was before Lil Jon had popularized that to mean something totally different.

This could have something to do with the fact that I'm a girl and I typically don't hang out with people who spit on each other for fun, but I had never heard of gleeking until this UPF. I'm also from Pennsylvania, if we're still figuring out whether or not regions are a factor.

I was crushed to find out that Ultimate Chicken Horse isn't publicly available yet. If it was in Early Access I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

It's not that big in Asia? Most of the audience is Europe and NA. I have like 1800 hours between my two accounts and it's pretty much the only game I've played over the past year and a half (MGSV is the only other game I've sunk serious time into).

@danryckert@brad It got real big over the past couple of years because of the weapon skins they added to the game and everything that resulted from that (trading, gambling, etc). Really one of the more remarkable games in terms of growth after release. Was initially dead on arrival and rejected by the community, now it's way more popular than either 1.6 or Source was.
