@fleckle: Normally, I might agree with you about social hooks, but considering how closely this game and twitter have been joined since the games inception, I'm inclined to give IDARB a pass. The social media integration is really smart as well, the QR codes make for an interesting and user friendly twist on sharing customized content, and hashbombs are an integral element to the game. The concept has been done before (the somewhat recent Deadnation comes to mind), but to my knowledge never as well. They are small, dumb, funny ways to shake things up in a game that could get dull much quicker without them, and gives an audience a meaningful way to impact the action.

IDARB joins a small, but growing list of games that is making the One seem like a console worth buying. Finally.

I used to MOUSE2 to jump, and SPACE for alt-fire. I think I converted to SPACE for jump when I got into Counterstrike, because I found it easier to bunny hop around with that.

For the longest time I used arrow keys for movement and even moved stuff AWAY from wasd. I don't remember why, but I ended up making myself use wasd for movement later on and I'm thankful I changed. I'd like to remember why I so harshly turned away from wasd.

I played CS as far back as beta 4. As "hipster" as it might sound, the beta days of CS were my most fond memories of the game. Even with its problem, CS:S was fun but CS:GO just hasn't hooked me as much.

Olympus Has Fallen was fun...I find it odd to see someone say the bad one with Channing Tatum was fun, but opinions! I found White House Down to be terrible but Olympus Has Fallen was fun.

No. I liked Olympus Has Fallen. Definitely serious about its material, but whatever. I thought it was fine for what it was. Haven't seen White House Down, but I imagine I'll like that as well.

I invert my Y too, from playing A LOT of X-Wing when I was a kid. I bet it's not so uncommon as we'd think. (I wonder if anyone every did a poll on invert / normal Y axis preference)

I tried putting my fingers to match this and my face only contorted in horror further and further. How did you even get there?

i'm loving that we're seeing residual Surge cans over the past few weeks.

A friend and I started calling local multiplayer games like #idarb "LOMULs" because we talk about them so often that we need to abbreviate.

Am I the only one that thinks that Timeline game use the same engine as Thief, given it's from Eidos.

Interstellar was great. Rorie is wrong. I am right. I'd accept if you said the ending wasn't as good as the rest of the movie but most of it was incredible.

Zimmer's music alone is worth 10 bucks.

Too bad they spent half the show playing IDARB... but whatever. The first half was actually good for a change so I probably shouldn't complain.

I love how they mentioned Billy Connelly as the token Scottish guy and then immediately start talking about Gerard Butler.
