If you want to watch it, it's on a youtube channel called giant bomb unarchived. It uploads some stuff from giant bomb that doesnt make it on the site, like periscope videos of dan ordering tacos.

I know Emo Philips because of Vinny's discussion of Emo Philips on the Bombcast a while back. Him and Judy Tenuta.

Really looking forward to seeing Vinny try and get past the doppelganger, but that's probably a few episodes away. It's probably the hardest boss in the game.

edit: of course, I looked up the fight on youtube just now and found an easy way to beat him. Funny how I never was able to find this method, but found the holy water trick on the grim reaper in Castlevania 1 on my own.

He did not fight the Bone Dragon King, which is a shame. That is a two part boss fight.

Getting Alucard and taking the underground path is the cool way to play.

Just wait until he fights the Doppelganger. There is a trick to that one.

@austin_walker Hey just wanted to let you know the FM comedy radio channel here in Denver plays Emo Phillips quite a bit.

He's weird but pretty funny.

I'm watching the beginning of this and things are getting pretty dire. Most of the entertainment in this series comes from bullshit deaths and "fuck you" level design, so I was actually worried about Super Castlevania IV because I remember it being marginally fairer? But they can probably make it work

I love Home Movies! That show is so good. It's also why I know about Emo Phillips despite being younger than the GB guys.

Man... this is serious business. They're gonna push each other beyond the limit in the next showdown.

Yeah, Castlevania IV is significantly easier. The worst part is the second to last level, which has some autoscrolling stages and some nasty jumps. If they choose to play that one, I won't be surprised if it's a shorter feature.

Some good conditions to put on that - I don't think anyone loves Casslebania 64.

I love that stupid victory light so much.

I have to say the overwhelming positivity from these is great. Really enjoy them pulling for Vinny!

Every time Vinny talked about that bird fucking off, all I could picture was some asshole British man breaking up with his girlfriend.

I'm glad @Vinny's playing though this so I don't have to.

Oh, and if anyone is curious, there are 33 enemies in the game.
