    Simon Boswell debuted as a film composer in 1985, and most of his soundtracks feature his guitar accompanied by synthesizers and strings. Some of his most well known film soundtracks are Hackers (1995), Shallow Grave (1994), Hardware (1990) and Phenomena (1985).

    In recent years, he's done two projects with the Vatican, including the album "Alma Mater" (2009) with former Pope Benedict XVI, an art installation named BLINK! (2002) and a solo album titled "Close Your Eyes" (2006).
