I think I'm going to buy this game. It just looks like a fun game to play even though its expensive, does anyone think it's a bad idea buying it? Is it worse than it looks?

Also, I'm pretty sure Trigger happy is their way of taunting us by saying ''you gave us so much money we can use it as ammo''. Damn them!

I am thinking of getting it to, but damn those figures are expensive.

I blame Jeff for my desire for this game though. And I wanna S rank Skylanders.

I always joke about getting it with my friends, although they never know what I am talking about.

I do get excited when I see a Skylanders set up in store.

Go for it. From footage and gameplay videos I've seen it looks better than what I expected.

How much of a kids game is it? Is it one that teenagers/adults can enjoy, like Viva pinata?

The ones you are probably referring to are the 3DS and the Arcade Cabinet. They were both Christmas ideas and I went with the 3DS as the Arcade Cabinet was too expensive.

Nope it's for kids so don't buy it.

Just think of all those figures as Day One DLC.

I'm totally with you on this. I get paid this coming Monday and i've got a feeling I'll have Skylanders by Tuesday :D To me it's like the video game equivalent of sitting down and watching a cartoon - just goofy, almost innocently goofy fun.

I bought it for my gf along with one of each element of the Skylander figures, she loves it and I enjoy watching her play it. I can definitely see the appeal of it and will probably give it a go myself eventually

Seems like a large investment for a game that isn't necessarily amazing or groundbraking in any particular way, in terms of the actual game content, that is.

From what I have seen, If you have a daughter I'd say get it. The people regretting it are usually the people without kids to play it with since it's considers a ''kids'' game. But what is that supposed to mean? Isn't Mario a kids game, should we stop playing that?

@NekuSakuraba: Viva Pinata is also considered a kids game, so Skylanders should be fantastic.

Seriously, the game is good. You can dislike Activision all you want, but no one who has played it can deny it's charming and addictive.

@Zanzibar106: I got a huge payday last week, so I bought it as kind of a guilty pleasure. Is it worth the money? I'm not the best person to ask. Do I regret it? NOT IN THE SLIGHTEST! :D

It really is a lot of fun though, sort of like watching a kids TV show or something.

Don't get it, it's a waste of money.
