An unofficial action-packed sequel to the NES version of the original Metal Gear has Lt. Solid Snake and his team of operatives infiltrating an undisclosed nation to hunt down the successor of the original Metal Gear superweapon. It is considered to be the only published non-canon installment in Konami's franchise.
