    Overview

The game is a very simplified take on the 4X formula, with the primary attribute in the game being a planet's value. Each planet owned by the player adds "resources" to the player's stockpile each turn according to the planet's value. These resources can then be spent on building shields, ships or scanners. The amount of shields a planet has, determines the offensive rating any attacking warships will need to have in order to capture it, while scanners determine the range at which planets and any ships can be detected.

The units in the game have been streamlined as well, with the categories being Warships, Scanships, Spyships, Freighters, Mines and Drones. Mines and Drones are a guaranteed kill on enemy ships but will self-destruct when attacking. Warships are the only ones capable of capturing planets (but can also defeat enemy ships with a lower offense rating), while Scanships and Spyships reveal nearby planets and enemy ships, but can not engage in combat.
