Ten years can do a lot to change our perception of something. In 1999, we saw the release of Sonic Adventure, one of Sega and Sonic Team’s most ambitious games of that era. When you consider the scope of platformer games at the time, such as Crash Bandicoot or Banjo-Kazooie, the scale of Sonic Adventure was impressive. Six different characters, each with their own unique gameplay style, at least one hour of fully-voiced real-time cinematics, no fewer than eight monstrous hub-world maps, thirteen...
I would like to say that this was one of the very first games that I played, when i was about 7 or 8, and I am 14 now.and i still remember it fondly. This is effectively the game that turned me in to a gamer. The basic story line of Sonic Adventure is that once again the infamous Dr. Robotnik is trying to do something bad and Sonic and the gang have to stop him, this time he is trying to collect all of the sought after "chaos emeralds" so that his pet liquid monster type thing, can become even...
It's the 9th day of September, on the last year of the previous millennium. I'd been at school staring at my watch, counting every second until I could leave and claim what was rightfully mine: Sega's Dreamcast, the much-hyped new gamin' machine that I'd pre-ordered months before. That afternoon I make my way to the Woodlands Mall, up to the 2nd floor Electronics Boutique, and find a line of other gamers waiting to pick up their own consoles. Holding my pre-order receipt in hand, I chuckle under...

WE GIVE OUR MOST POPULA...
I grew up playing sonic adventure for the dreamcast and i have to say its a great game. Even to this date i am a huge fan of Sonic adventure and sonic adventure 2. One of the greatest features of this game is the chaos. You can raise them to be evil or good and when you do u unlock chao heaven and chao hell. Another good feature about the the sonic adventure games is Dr eggman and his evil schemes, like shadow....
Ah...September 9th, 1999. The launch of Final Fantasy VIII...err, I mean the Dreamcast. It was a glorious day ten years ago when Sega rose from the dead and breathed new life into a console. On that day, the Saturn, an epic failure (in the U.S. at least), was replaced by a smaller, white system. Instead of surprising us with a sneak attack, Sega actually announced the Dreamcast's release date, and sent a legion of retail games to accompany it. Two of these titles blew away Dreamcast f...
