Achievements are extra challenges added into video games that sometimes carry a point value or unlock bonus material, and are sometimes solely for bragging rights.
The ability to fling oneself around an environment gracefully. Wall-running, jumping, massive drops, climbing, and other physical activities are what acrobatics is all about.
Present in most action games, where people can say cheesy stuff and get away with it. Usually spoken by the hero, before or after wasting a dude.

Badniks are the enemies which Sonic the Hedgehog fights in nearly every game. Although deadly, they are actually innocent animals imprisoned by Eggman within robotic shells.

The comic relief is a character, other than the main character, who is meant to add humor and lighten the mood of the game. These characters are usually very dumb or very witty, and are usually very talkative.

The act of bending at the knees from a standing position. Crouching is an essential part of many shooters and platformers, and can be used by players to stay behind cover or avoid incoming projectiles.
Some creatures can easily take off some of their "major" body parts without any real harm to them. Sometimes they can grow new ones quickly or re-attach the parts they took off.
Dragons were originally messengers from heaven, according to early Buddhist texts. In games, they can be among the most fearsome of adversaries, but there are some exceptions.
'Drop-In' is a style of co-op gameplay where extra players can join the 1st player seamlessly without having to quit the game or navigate any menus. Many of these games do allow players to 'Drop-Out' of the game in a similar manner.
It may seem like bottom rung, but its your best friend when you just HAVE to find out if the Princess is in the castle and your date is waiting for you. Go ahead and hit those crosshairs until your shame is backlit by neon text outline, just don't expect any achievements!
When a character goes to the edge of a platform and starts to wobble. Most commonly seen in side-scrolling platformers.
Emulation is the means by which games intended for one platform are rendered playable on another. Emulation is used for various purposes, ranging from allowing older games to be playable on newer hardware to software development for various platforms.

When a game lets players grab enemies and throw them as projectiles. Commonly found in platformers, but also sometimes found in over-the-top 3rd person action games.
Mustaches are often found on the evil villain of cartoons to let the audience know just how evil they are, or used in parody of them.
