So far, I have some trouble getting on the server. It shows that it's up, but I can't get in. My guess is there must be a ton of gamers logging in & flooding the servers.  Weekends are gonna be tough to play this game if it's that crowded (assuming that's what is causing the problem).

Oh my god there is a queue to log in right now.  I'm in position 127 out of 282.

I got a "server not responding" message and I had to restart the game. Now my position in the queue is 345 of 1357 and more people are trying to get in every minute. It took me 15 minutes to move from 349 to 345. This game is insanely popular.

Seems like Cryptic better go buy more shard servers...

Surprised they didn't sort out the server issues during open beta to headstart / final release. When you login to WoW you expect waiting times, but not for a new MMO.

The champions online boards are full of the same complains on the STO forums. Seems like cryptic is trying to wheeze the juice from them lol.

I will probably be too possessed by ME2 next week to care about the STO issues. :P

" I think that Cryptic is overwhelmed.  They have the numbers of all the perople that preordered and all copies sold.  The unspoken rule of MMO's is that 1/6 of people who subscribe are on at any given time.  STO seems to be the exception.  These kinds of things are typical of a new MMO launch.  There is no escaping it.    <3 "
