    Star Wars: The Old Republic is a massively-multiplayer role-playing game set 300 years after the events of BioWare's Knights of the Old Republic series, but still approximately 3,600 years before the events of the films.

    Now launching December 20th in Europe, too!

    Bioware announced that now The Old Republic will have a global launch on the 20th of December - so Europeans no longer have to wait an extra two days to play! Still no word about releases for other regions like Australia though, which is a shame.

    Also, have a new trailer!  I know a lot of people want to hate on this a lot, but I really can't wait. It looks so cool. It's nice to see them showing off the in game stuff more now rather than just relying on CGI.

    Still not many days before I'm off to my parents for Christmas, but two days earlier is still two days. And the Americans can't tell us the game is old news when we get to play it ^^

    is it weird / silly that this announcement made me finally want to pre order the game? >_>

    do i need to install Origin first and then buy it from there (like steam) or do i just go to origin.com and buy it seperate?

    Probably can do it on the site, I'm not sure though. The game doesn't require Origin though.

    Also, I don't know if you guys know this, but I'm excited for this game.
