    • New pre-order trailer with all classes
    • New vehicles – including a land speeder
    • You can change appearance of companions, not just through gear but also skin color
    • 19 major worlds and many more small worlds – sounds like 2 more are yet to be announced
    • Companions may get AI control similar to Dragon Age
    • Solo players have an entire endgame planet to themselves
    • Quick travel system between planets – NOT map travel though
    • Some type of bonus for re-rolling (Legacy system?)
    • Free pre-order codes to the crowd
    • Beta weekends in September will be huge – lots of people
    • Pre-order now! (This was their big announcement, if it hadn’t leaked)
    • Release – “Holiday 2011″
    • Collector’s Edition store is actually an exclusive location that only CE owners have access to
    • Items from this store however will not give people an advantage in power, though weapons and armor will be available
    • Color Stone is gold in addition to adding effects
    • Sharding may be used on launch day, only if absolutely necessary (the practice of creating multiple copies of the same area)
    • Advanced Class change is in the game. 1st swap is cheap. After that it gets expensive
    • Companion AI – off-limits for talking about! James Ohlen is in trouble.
    • Companion customization is flexible, but you can’t swap their genders. You get customization kits to do this, and get more unlocked later
    • Speeder bikes and land speeders in direct response to player and fan feedback
    • No plans for a Mac version currently, Boot Camp suggested :(
    • An unannounced feature may get you access to different species/class combos
    • Ship interior customization – it’s in the design plan, but not in for launch
    • Lots and lots of titles in the game
    Some voice actors

The only point that caught my eye. Also I knew they weren't going to support Mac, going to have to Windows 7 bootcamp.

I do like that there going to try not to give the CE items more power over normal items but it just waited to be seen if they unbalance the game or not.

Apparently the CE items you can buy in the store are just reskins of progression gear.

Solo play focus is great. But why would I pay monthly for that?

I really feel there should have been some kind of non-subscription payment model, for those who just want to play through the story.

I ended up pre-ordering once I found a cheaper version of the standard edition. Really bummed out about the pricing, didn't want the standard edition. But not having a job is limiting.

I'm still extremely skeptical about this game. It seems very bland and basically a carbon copy of WoW with a slightly less interesting universe in my opinion. The story aspect could be great, but it's more likely it will just feel strange and limiting. I don't know.

The whole pricing structure with an expensive purchase - 86 dollars for swedish regular edition thanks to the pre-order fee (!!!) - subscription, AND (not ''necessary'' I guess) micro transactions is complete bullshit. And no, PC games, especially MMOs, are usually around €50 or $50 still.

I really wish i would have been able to sit in on that talk.

That's too bad about the lack of it on Macs. I got a lot of friends who use them exclusively. But if i understand it correctly it has become very easy to dual boot with a windows partition on them.

I do think it's just a matter of time before it comes to Mac. I think EA needs to start making some money on this game asap.

That holiday release statement has really killed any chance of me playing this game now. With all the games coming out, if i still have an mmo itch, it will probably have to be satisfied by GW2, or pseudo satisfied by D3.

Fascinated by the idea of a solo planet, as someone who intends to play mostly solo in TOR I'm excited to see what that actually is.

I'm really interested in how this game will fare in terms of reviews. It seems to me like the MMO market is a very difficult to penetrate. It doesn't matter who makes a new MMO,  it always has to deal with the WoW juggernaut. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, since WoW is certainly an amazing game. But I'm sure it discourages many developers from attempting to bring a new MMO to the market, which is a real shame.

I hope this will happen in a not too distant future. As a fan of player housing I'm all for it.

It's also good that you can customize the companion, it would look a bit silly if everyone ran around with companions looking exactly the same. It would look like a bunch of clones.

They also accidently let slip that they have insentives to re-roll. One of the staff said something about being able to pick new species when you create a new character later on but they won't go into any detail at all. Hopefully that's how I'll getmy Rodia and Togruta on.

Eh, reviews don't really matter for MMOs, it's rare that an MMO gets bad/mixed reviews. Even bad MMOs get good reviews usually.

The end-game solo planet is interesting. I'm mostly wondering about what this "re-roll incentive" thing is all about though.

Yeah, I wonder if the gear will be at all comparable to large raids.  I spent a year and a half doing "hard-core" raiding in WoW and though I don't regret it, I don't want to do that again.  I'm interested in how that will play out.

Either way, I'm mainly interested in the PVP, so hopefully that aspect will turn out really good.
