State what league you were in and what league you placed in!

I was in gold, a now I'm... still in gold.

For some people this will probably only show after a couple of games since you cannot be placed above platinum league by your placement match, right? 
 
At least that's how it worked before I think.

It was possible to place in diamond before. That's what I did, then dropped to plat when I stopped playing for a month :(

Bronze, though, only facing silver and gold now ^^

I don't seem to have been reset. I thought there was gonna be another placement match post-match, but that never happened.I'm in the same league, same position as I was before.

Europe hasn't been reset yet. Don't know why.

I'm on the EU ladder. Will I have to replay placements?

Just one match. It's intended to eliminate people who are totally inactive. Like people who stopped playing 2-3 weeks after release.

You can be placed anywhere from Bronze to Masters.  From what I've heard, the vast majority of people just stay where they are unless their MMR has changed drastically in the last week or so.

Kept me in bronze ... the guy I beat in my placement went from silver to bronze.

I went from plat to gold unfortunately. I went on a terrible losing period right before the reset :(. Oh well, I can have that great feeling of being promoted one more time.

I was gold, lost my placement, and was put in Platinum!  
Actually this is not a surprise since I was playing mainly platinum dudes when the ladder was locked at the end of last season.

I was in Gold, won my placement match and got put into Silver. Doesn't surprise me though since I only restarted playing this month and was doing pretty bad.

Got 4 gated in my placement.  Back to platinum I go.  sigh.

i was in bronze. won my placement now im in silver!

was in bronze, beat a bronze player in placement, still bronze.

was masters then won one and back into masters 
surprised me to see that people get placed into masters

Still in Platinum.  I demolished my placement person.  I did a nice techswitch from Colossi into HTs with mass 3/3 chargelots and absolutely destroyed his pure marauder/viking army (he had easily 30 vikings or more).  I finally am getting my style of PvT back.  I used to use robo only for observers and use double stargate phoenixes with templars and zealots.  Now if I can keep this up things might go better for me.
 
I'm going to bet there will be a lot of promotions for the near future as the higher leagues are being cleared out of inactive players.
 
I was worried my placement would be another stupid PvP like I was matched with all night last night and ruined my chances of getting placed in diamond.  SCREW PVP.

Won my placement game and got placed in silver. Was #2 silver prior to reset.

I will play only in early night or before in placement games. Late hours will have far better players online.

Got placed in Platinum.
 
I lost to a Gold zerg; instead of taking advantage of him FEing ant taking a fast expo myself, I decided to attack with 2 zealots, 2 stalkers and 2 sentries. I then wasted my forcefields and my macro slipped incredibly; after the failed attack he just streamed zerglings into my base.

Back to bronze...except I'm winning every game.

Damn, I was in gold, I lost and now I'm still in gold. I haven't played Starcraft 2 in a long time and I hoped I could get to a lower league. I suck now so gold players kick my ass so much.
I can't get back into Starcraft 2. :(

I was playing last night hoping to get promoted or at least get to the top of my division but out of 16 games I had 10(!) PvPs.  It made me so sad.  By the 5th or so I was 10gate 4gate all-ining and it was working so I'm back to playing high Platinum and Low diamonds again.  No more super-defensive style play from me because tons of them were going for fast expands and I easily could have 4gated them and won.  DAMN YOU PVP 
 
Not to mention every other game I played the other person was heavily favoured and they were all scary macro zergs.  I took advantage of many of them blind countering colossi so I focused on immortals and gateway units and it worked well.  I won about half of them

Silver, used to be in Bronze. Which is alright with me since i was 10 in Bronze and couldn't seem to move up. there was even a large gap between 9 and 11.

Got moved from bronze to silver after placement. I had moved up from 44th in my division to 8, but I did that after they locked ladder progression. So pretty pumped to be out of bronze whoop whoop!

Diamond -> Diamond. If I played more than like a handful of ladder games every 3 months or something I think I could possibly make it into Masters. =p

Was in Plat, lost to a Diamond in my placement and I'm still in Plat playing Diamonds. Hopefully I'll be promoted soon.

I got into Silver last season, then stopped playing for many months.  Lost my placement, and was moved into Gold for some reason.  Well, I guess it all worked out in the end since 6 games later, me and my shitty but slowly improving macro is still winning games.
