This would be cool... If I cared about RTS games.

THIS took them like 6 years to make? This is like every other RTS out there. Man fuck Starcraft, and for that matter fuck Blizzard. They're games aren't even that good. 

I'm in the beta, but rarely play it.  I'm not impressed, to be honest.  And from what I've seen of the campaign, I'm unsure how in the hell they can even consider charging $60 for this game.

No matter how it's sugar coated, it's still RTS single player, which I find totally reprehensible.

Still looks like a pretty standard RTS.

Prediction: Giantbomb will give it a 5/5 even if it's a steaming pile of crap. "OMFG! Defend against waves of attackers using a small selection of units? We've NEVER played anything like THAT before! Why didn't other developers like Relic and Ensemble think of that? Sooooo innovative!"

Now this looks like a quality RTS campaign.

I am really glad that Brad is totally digging SC2 and playing it a bunch.

Goddammit is it a trip to hear that Jim Raynor voice again or what?

I have to admit i wasn't THAT excited for SC2.

this game will be worth it for the singleplayer I guess, multiplayer RTS needs to much energydrinks or amphetamines to be played properly.

The single player campaign is the main draw for me.  I'm just not fast enough to compete in multiplayer.

More excited than ever, now to pick up a new PC that can run this...

Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop using amphetamines. I am more of a turn-based player myself. Looks pretty great though.

I almost gave up on Blizzard when they started milking the warcraft universe (played wc3 on bnet from beta, obviously despised WOW), but what they are doing with sc2 - I couldn't be more excited (I'm constantly getting owned in beta, but still loving it). I fucking hate Activision, but I guess I have no choice but to pay $60 for this game, or maybe even pre-order the collector's edition (which I'm seriously considering).

I'm worried my crappy video card won't be able to handle it. But damnit, I've been a Starcraft player since I've been able to use a mouse....I can't pass this up

I've been playing the beta. I'm not good at it, but I still see the appeal of the game.

I can't recall how many hours of Starcraft I've played over the last 12 years, really looking forward to the many of hours I will be spending playing Starcraft 2

Im playing the beta...all I can say is HOLY FUCKING FUCKING SHIT!!! It's unlike any other game I've ever played. The little details, the graphics, the balance between the races, it blows the original and Warcraft 3 away. I was addicted to Warcraft 3 about 7 years ago. I can't imagine what this will do to me. lol

I am so bummed I didn't get into this beta.  Even now I occasionally check my battle.net account to make sure the beta isn't sitting there for download.

Hard to believe it's been 12 years since SC 1 O_O  It's going to be worth the wait, though.  The mplayer beta alone is amazing.

PS - For everyone saying they suck & will get stomped in multiplayer, the new league system is looking pretty good.  It's broken down into several tiers and once things settle down after release, and once the system puts you into the proper grouping (after ~5 games+ and the next system update) you should get pretty even matches most of the time.

Yeah, that's great.  Lose your ego by getting ass raped in the Placement Games and then seeing yourself in the 90 Division of Copper.  I've been constantly placing into Gold League, but a lot of higher ranks will be losing Placements on purpose for the Achievements.    It's already an issue on the forums with Copper players complaining that "Gold or Plat" players are in there owning the shit out of everyone, and losing games on purprose until they get all the Achievements they need. "
