after an initial overview, the UI has been completely overhauled, your games can be displayed in a pretty grid, no more viewing screenshots through shitty internet explorer, videos load quickly, etc. feels like steam. still have to spend some more time with it to understand all of the new features.

I think its much prettier but needs to work out some performance issues.

is there a way to make folders for the games in your library instead of just favorites?

I hade no idea they were working on an overhaul. Exciting news! =D

I basically love everything about it EXCEPT I don't like any of the new ways to view your library. I want the big old list WITH GAME ICONS back.

the game images in the background when selected in the library is a nice touch.

I used it for about half a day the first day it launched, then switched back to the old Steam. I'll be pretty upset if I can't continue using the old one once the new one launches.

Ah man, it's so good. There's 3 different ways to view all your games. 
 
If there was one thing wrong with Steam, it was the awful UI.

i love it... however i loved steam ever since i got it. dont understand the hate

It´s a slick UI, not entirely unlike Giant Bomb at least color-wise. Compared to the original Steam and its predecessor, the Half-life UI, this is an enormous step in the right direction. It actually makes me want to play PC games every once in a while.

I loved the old UI, and I love this new UI.
 
I was skeptical at first, but it's really nice.
 
Edit: I talked about it to a friend and he decided to try it, and he likes it too.

I wish I could set custom images for the game shortcuts I've associated with the program.  Other than that, it looks pretty.
