Attention Gouken players!

I have been playing Gouken more or less exclusively since SFIV came out and I really enjoy the character. i do, however, feel like I'm stuck with regards to my progression with him.
I've been searching the web for tips on how to play him (forum posts, articles, videos etc.) but havent really found anything good yet, and as far as I can tell there isnt anything on the GB forums that can help me either.
I as hoping that there might be a few Goukens out there in the GB fanbase who would like to help a struggling newbie:)

I have heard legends of this "MB", but I thought they were just that; legends. I will seek out this ancient master of the fighting arts and try to become his apprentice.

Seriously though, I'm "OK" with Gouken but my play lacks any advanced combos. My playstyle concentrates more on timing than anything else, and as such I'm afraid there is not much that I can teach others. It would still be fun to spend some time with you in training though, maybe we can teach each other a thing or two about the old bastard.

Do you by any chance know any resources that would be useful for Gouken players? My guess(hope) is that we arent the only ones who chose to play that old geezer.

I just love any chance to embed this video. The last combo actually does less damage than just doing a reverse throw into ultra due to diminishing returns or whatever the technical term is.

Jesus christ almighty. The advanced combos(of any of the characters really) never seize to amaze me. Thats so sick.

I have a newb question ao but Gouken if you dont mind.  There is a kick move I do from time to time by total accident.  Its a kick in the air that coms down quickly and at a steep angle.  Not just a normal jump kick.  You Gouken masters Im sure know what Im talking about.  How do you do that?  I have tried to figure out on my own but with no avail.  Thanks.

this is where challenge mode and the character moves list comes in handy. I'm sure you just press down and a variation of kick, probably medium. As I said, the game provides the answers.

@Scullinator: Thats his demon-flip. You do it by inputting right -> down -> downright + any kick(character facing right). This also has a EX variant which launches Gouken really fast from one side of the screen to the other
