I know I already posted a blog on the American Fun Center that's located in my area (Troy, MI -- Oakland Mall), complete with Street Fighter IV cabinets, but now I have pictures and video -- huzzah! In the video I beat arcade mode, and it includes panel, game, and cabinet footage. They lowered the price to 3 tokens (75 cents), and 2 tokens for continues -- which is rad.

So since my camera was also super low on battery, I could only get a couple photos before it auto-shutoff.

Complete with Taito card reader and full Japanese hardware.

This panel just happens to be the perfect height as well, pretty sweet.

@lordofultima: I have the same habit too. Maybe I'm just way too eager to get into the next match.

You look like some kind of pro tapping the buttons like that!  :P

Nice arcade.  I used to be a big arcade guy in the late '80s and '90s.  Nothing like that has been around my area for at least 8 years.

That was definitely bullshit at 4:20-4:22, as you were clearly over him when he unleashed his ultra.  Seth's is cheap everywhere you go it seems.  The arcade cabinet looks pretty sweet though.

That looks fucking awesome. Did you get to fight anyone else or is it pretty much empty of any compitition? I'd like to see video of you duking it out against someone in the arcade.

@Scooper: I'm going a bit later today to see if the competition shows up in the evening (lets hope). I know they have SF4 tournaments there every once in a while, and free1up shows up now and again. So we'll see.

That would be pretty insane if you got some footage vs free1up, especially if he is in a Ken mood.

@lordofultima: Awesome. It's time you got into the SFIV arcade scene. It seems like a fun place especialy if people are actualy competing there. Maybe we'll see you or someone from the GB forum at Evo 10 or something ehehehe. Well maybe.... Some of you guys are beasts at the game.

I'm with the guy up there about the single black button? is that just a single triple P/K? I don't really understand it myself. Maybe it's auto macro'ed to do Ryu's Srk Cancel to ultra combo.

@Diagonol: My guess would be it's the focus button. Many people who played the game first time wouldn't know both mediums were focus.

@Diagonol: There is no single black button, that's a button plug, plugging the hole of where a button could go.

So I went there again yesterday evening, beating up on noobies for the most part, one dude even came up with like 6 bucks in tokens and laid them all on the cabinet to try and beat me. Of course he didn't even know how to throw a fireball and I actually gave him a couple rounds and let him learn a couple things, I thought it was the nice thing to do. Then I waxed him obviously. There were two guys that were obviously friends that I took on as well, one picked Ryu and one picked Ken, the Ken seriously was just mashing fierce uppercut -- SERIOUSLY. Like the whole round. He looked especially upset when I would take those rounds handily.

So then I'm breezing through arcade mode and this asian man that was playing Tekken decided to play me, because "he felt bad that I was playing arcade mode." He picked Zangief, the supposed "lop-sided match" that it's supposed to be, he still beat me six times. Yeah, a tekken player ran me broke. He then told me I should work on my zoning and play more keep away with fireballs, since Zangief should be "free."

Overall it was a great experience, at least finding out that he does compete in tournaments with Zangief made me feel better, despite him being a Tekken player. We talked about match-ups and I basically said I have little match-up knowledge of anyone other than Ryu and Akuma (mirror), and he told me about the Michigan scene and the ranbats that go on. So that was pretty rad, I just forgot to ask for his SRK name - but I'm sure I'll see the guy again.

To end the night, I played with my final set of three tokens against scrubs for a while, then they left and I started through arcade mode -- only to be peaced out by CPU Balrog (go figure). He kept doing turn-punches, literally the whole match. I watched a little Tekken play after that and went home. Pretty awesome experience and I can't wait to show up on a weekend when there's tournaments going on.

@JJOR64: You can in every SF4 arcade version I've ever seen, Japanese or American (These are Japanese cabinets btw). He's not on the select screen, you hit up at the top row, or down on the bottom row to access him.
