    Strike Witches is a series of light novels, manga, and anime taking place in an alternate history, where young, militarized witches use magical engines attached to their legs (known as striker units) to fly into the battlefield and defend a besieged mid-twentieth century Earth from the armies of an alien race known as the Neuroi.

    There have been numerous Strike Witches video game adaptations, mostly based on the characters found within the anime series, with one found on the PS2, two on the DS, and a fourth on the Xbox 360.

    None of these games have seen Western releases.
