    The Super Koopa is a Koopa variant that first appeared in Super Mario World on the SNES. Instead of a shell, Super Koopas wear a cape and are able to fly. Some Super Koopas have a cape that flashes yellow and red: this indicates that stomping them will release a Cape Feather. The first Super Koopa can be encountered in the first level of the Donut Plains world. They attack by swooping down from above.
