New Super Mario Bros Series

Yoshi's Island (SMA: Yoshi's Island is, so why not the original?)

They are all platformers, which seem to be the main qualification for the Super Mario franchise page.

Just wondering why they are not on here. Thoughts?

New Super Mario Brothers is listed under sub-series right at the top of the page. And Yoshi's Island I would say probably fits.

New Super Mario Bros is a different series, practically a reboot. Not sure about Yoshi's Island.

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island sure is a Super Mario game.

EDIT: I went ahead and added it, I hope you don't mind me taking those two points. The question I'm having is whether we should have a page for both Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3.

Because somebody forgot to add them?

I thought Yoshi's Island was it's own sub series like NSMB or SML?

this is the kind of question where a style guide would help immensely as potentially either answer is correct.
