Can't wait for this game to come out on Steam.  Hearing all the things Brad said about the game makes me jump with glee!  Been waiting for a challenging platformer.

I got it on Steam. After playing for around two weeks and "A+-ing" the first three worlds, Dark and Light, and unlocking a certain extremely hard character, I decided to take some time off the game. It's a GREAT game, but you have to take it slowly, otherwise you'll get seriously frustrated and you won't want to play it ever again. Maybe, if the different characters of the PC version prove interesting, I'll get it on Steam too.

Just know that if you do this the controls are much slower than the actual game. On 360 at least. I've played the 360 version and couldn't stand the newgrounds one.

Just seeing a lack of the play button on my Library for that game is driving me mad.  Thankfully this madness will end tomorrow or so, so that a different kind of madness can begin.

@LordAndrew:  but this seems to be the thing with SMB, you will scream at it and hate it, but you can't stop playing it and you always apologize to it later.

Super Meat Boy is incredible, I really should go back and finish the last 80 or so levels I have left, but all of them make me want to kill myself...

I'm wondering how the controls will work on a keyboard. It might get a little awkward if you have to use shift or another key as the run button.

Regardless, it's a great game. I've died over 8k times and I keep coming back for more.

People shouldn't play games like that with a keyboard. Only fools will buy the Steam version.

I have an Xbox 360 gamepad for games that aren't FPS games. I wouldn't think keyboard would be good for this type of game.

um, what's wrong with a keyboard for this kind of game?  lol guys we're not talking about analog sticks or triggers here, we're talking about a directional pad.  my keyboard has directional keys and a spacebar, so I think I'm good.  and this game started out on the PC and worked just fine then.  it will be fine guys.

It has gamepad support, and even then, the movement isn't analog.

Ok screw using a keyboard for this game.  My spacebar on my G15 is a piece of crap, it's too high so when I try to jump off walls the jump doesn't register in time so I just slide down it.  My laptop is good though because the keys aren't as high.  Anyway so I plugged a gamepad into my PC it should go better now.

Yeah, Gamepad is totally essential to games like this for me. I did give the keyboard a try just to see how it would handle, and it seemed to work well enough. But I definately always use gamepads for things like platforming, racing...  and... other stuff..?
