    Hey guys, brother got a wii for xmas with smash bros.  
    We want to play together online with the one console, versus another 2 people.  
    Is this possible? If so how do we set that up

    Just get the friend codes of the other two people and add them to your list of friends in the multiplayer menu.  
     
    Then just make sure you are both online at the same time.

    Hmm, i meant more like me and my brother play on the one wii. 
    Is it possible to play against others without needing the friend codes etc, just using matchmaking

    I know you can, ive played in online matches against people who have had 2 people playing on the same console....... how you do that exactly, im not sure. There should be a button you push while selecting your character that lets him just drop in with you.

    Yes, you just go online with the friend codes of the other consoles and you should be all set.

    He means that he wants to play in a multiplayer match with random people, and have his brother join in locally.  So he doesn't have friend codes to deal with, i know, its kinda confusing.
     
    Daniel JW doesnt think you can though and he knows his wii, so....... i think hes right, i havent touched that game in about a year so im not very helpful haha.
