After countless SSF4 videos over the last few months, one thing has struck out to me a lot... the english voices for some of the new characters are actually not only good, but better than the japanese versions. Now, im biased, I always played SF4 with japanese voices, I didnt even bother with choosing individually (although this afternoon I went through each character seeing if i had missed something, since I like the english voices in SSF4, and maybe sagat and dan are better in english, and thats a big maybe) so I just assumed it would be the same for SSF4.
But right now, i know ill be using english voices for Adon, Cody (this one by far), Hakan and Juri (this one might be controversial, but I hate her jap voice, and I love her english "evil laugh" every time she does the cartwheel kick) for sure at least, with Guy, Dee Jay and T. Hawk a possibility after I hear more of both of their voices. Is anyone else surprised about some of the english voices, or were you already using english voices in SF4 to start with?

English voices strike back?
It was very hit and miss for me. Some characters such as Ryu and Ken I kept as Japanese as their English voices didn't seem to fit for me while characters such as El Fuerte and Dhalsim I kept at English because Japanese coming out of their mouths just sounded and felt...wrong. For the new characters, Adon, Juri, and the new boxer sound awful to me in English while some others seem ok. I didn't really notice a big improvement in this iteration of the game.
"Ibuki on the scene! ;)!"
Euurrrggghhhhhhhhhhh.................
Apart from that the English voices are pretty good. I would have Juri's Japanese voice over but her death scream is really gratting and annoying so I can't have that. I think I like Adon's the most out of the English voices and probably T.Hawk's the least. I'll have him in Japanese for sure. Deejay sounds pretty cool in English but I'm bummed he doesn't say "Max out!" on his Sonic Boom because for some reason I really liked that sound.
"I don't understand the correlation between Ibuki's English voice and the word "awesome". Well... Now that I think about it, it's 'awesome' in the same way Indestructable was 'awesome'....Ibuki, on the scene!
This pretty much sums it up. The English VO's are awesome in Super. "
Wait, no! You're trying to trick me! It's terrible and that's final.
